Bee had accidentally brushed against Starscream's lower chest plate, just the lightest touch against the other, while trying to show the other a more physical maintenance task Ratchet often needed someone to look into. The shriek and stumbling back by the other was not expected. Bee beeped his concern for the other, wondering if he had whacked him with his door? He didn't feel anything that hard?
"N-no, just my chest, er..." Starscream was holding a spot just under his main front plating where his torso had room to shift and rotate. Bee clearly thought he'd hurt him so he moved his servo to show there was no really injury. Bee immediately poked the exposed cabling and Starscream folded over with a squeak to hide it. Bee jumped to the other side and poked the other side and Starscream shouted at him to stop but didn't fight him.
It wasn't long before everyone on the ship was aware of the stubborn seeker's newfound vulnerability, and oh how they exploited it. Who would have thought that the absolute opposite of violence was the quickest way to get the bird to comply?
What used to take arguing, round upon round of his circular reasoning, and yelling now only required a little wiggling of fingers in his direction and he was off like a bullet to do what was asked of him to avoid being tickled.
It extended beyond needing things doneb and was just a new way to razz the other around the base. ESPECIALLY by Bulkhead and Wheeljack, almost mercilessly cornering him sometimes just because the way he threatened and shrieked at them so easily flipped into unhinged thrashing and laughter. It was an infectious cackle that ended up making his assailants laugh and anyone within earshot smirk.
Optimus had to step in and enforce some "no-tickle" hours so the poor jet could stop looking over his shoulder every time a mech walked into the room. How else was he going to gain the other's trust enough to get close enough to him?
