Unusually bad blues are responsible for the deaths of millions and hundreds of millions.

More regularly bad blues execute innocents, protect the guilty, let people suffer and die to benefit themselves, misuse and abuse those with less power, take the power vested in them for the good of society and use it to make the people who should be able to trust in them worse off in a thousand large and small ways.

I think it is telling, given this, if someone’s standards for ‘should not be blue’ is ‘I have heard second hand that they are not very good at math’.

Hey! What's your country like, I haven't met anyone from there.

I’d prefer not to write my country, if you don’t mind? I use here to look for my feet a lot, I can ask questions and say things I know I can’t as much other places, and I’m not very good at security I’m afraid but I can at least try what I know.

I also don’t have so much to compare to, I’m afraid. I wasn’t even two yet when we came here, so I don’t remember so much of where we were from, except for what my mom has told me. 

I know I’m very fortunate to be here, and I hope to be a good citizen and contribute to the country and never give them cause to regret taking us. And maybe give them cause to be glad, if I can.

And my mom says it’s important to be loyal to one’s country, that it’s what you give your country that protects you and gives you the foundation of life. So I know it’s important to be loyal, maybe even more for me than for everyone because they didn’t have to give us those things but they did.

In a completely different direction of what the fuck even - it is in fact perfectly theoretically possible (not true and you can find that out with literally 30 seconds on a search engine but) that the majority of reds couldn’t read and they use speech-text translation for work orders and being on the internet and all that and that wouldn’t actually say anything about anything else they are or can do. 

Because reading’s a pretty particular brain thing and people can in fact totally not have it working and that doesn’t make them, well, anything aside from ‘not able to read’ and ‘probably requiring of accommodations given our social setup’.

I’ve had kids in my classes who can’t read. And fortunately we live in a decent country with respect to that at least so they can have their accommodations and be in all their classes being totally great students instead of everyone assuming that means they just can’t do anything or whatever.

There are greens who can’t read and a lot of the time this ends up being awful for them in ways it totally doesn't need to be because people go around assuming that can’t possibly just - be a thing you can take at face value and go with, you either have to pretend it’s not true or it must mean something super bad.

So like reds can in fact read and this is literally just a fact but also ‘not able to read’ doesn’t somehow translate to ‘is a cow’ or whatever the fuck.

(eta: I mean here I am sitting here reading things through machine translation because my brain can’t pick up languages super fast by being around them. You know who can do that? - one year olds. That doesn’t mean one year olds are just smarter than me, it means their brains can do this particular thing that mine can’t.)

(No I wouldn’t wait around for a foreign blue who doesn’t like me to deal with random fuckers in my building. 

And if someone was pretending to be blue why would they choose a less plausible backstory?)
