Getting the foundation built for “yo-yo’s,” controlled bates, and the “look away” game. The premise of all these games are to teach the bird to move away from you or from food in response to a cue. It can be become a great source of exercise and is also fantastic for reducing aggression.
I’m going to try playing all the tidbit games with Littlefoot and see how he responds in comparison to accipiters. So far, the way he moves reminds me a lot of an accipiter and he seems to be highly food motivated. Can’t wait to learn more about him and see how he flies!
