TID Challenge #5
Question #1 - Who is the apple of your eye, the yin to your yang, the beating of your heart. What I’m trying to say here is who is your favorite character, so far?
Will is definitely the apple of my eye, the words to my pages. I see a lot of myself in him. We both would do anything for the ones we love. Tessa and Jem also hold a dear place in my heart
Question #2 - Who is the bane of your existence, the person that makes your whole day sour, who turns your smile into a frown… Who is your most hated character, so far?
Counsel Wayward is literally the bane of my existence, the mistreatment of Charlotte and his doubts towards her is enough to boil my blood. I'm not overly fond of Jessamine due to the fact betraying the one who not only love you dearly and house you since you were orphaned goes to far. I also would not say no to punching Nathaniel across the face.
In the dim light that spilled from the inn, he could see that his parabatai rune, just over his heart was bleeding. His hands were covered in blood, blood mixed with rain, the same rain that was washing the blood away from his chest, showing the rune as it began to fade from black to sliver, changing all that had been sense in Will’s life to nonsense.

TIDREADALONG CHALLENGE #6 RUNES
These are for challenge six and Sasha will use them for challenge seven so keep these in your back pocket.
Btw: These are from the Shadowhunter Codex that sits beautifully on my shelf ;)
Can I just say that:
1) I have just completed my reread of The Infernal Devices (woot woot)
2) It feels totally strange to pick up a book that doesn’t contain the word shadowhunter in it?
TIDREADALONG CHALLENGE #5
Question #1 - Who is the apple of your eye, the yin to your yang, the beating of your heart. What I’m trying to say here is who is your favorite character, so far?
Jem Carstairs is and always will be my favorite character of this entire series. He’s a sweetheart and his love for others is unconditional. He’s got a sense of humor, he’s smart, he speaks another language, he’s handsome. He’s just totally wonderful!
That being said, there is another person i do want to call attention to and that is Cecily Herondale. This girl kicks ass and doesn’t really take it from anyone, least of all her brother. She looks out for others as well as herself and is a shadowhunter deep in her blood. She’s strong and wise and she says some of my favorite quotes in the story.
Question #2 - Who is the bane of your existence, the person that makes your whole day sour, who turns your smile into a frown… Who is your most hated character, so far?
I think it’s an incredible 4 way tie between Benedict Lightwood, Jessamine Lovelace, Axel Mortmain, and Nathaniel Gray. Benedict is just a selfish bastard. Jessamine is not only rude and judgmental, but she also betrays the people who have treated her like family since she was orphaned. Axel’s just terrible. and Nathaniel is selfish to the point he would physically step on people who went out of their way to save him and the sister that had loved him unconditionally.
