🎯 South Africa's Tiger Brands to sell Baby Wellbeing business, excluding Purity
Tiger Brands, South Africa's largest food producer, announced the sale of its Baby Wellbeing business for 605 million rand ($33.4 million), excluding its core Purity brand. The divested portfolio, which includes baby toiletries under Elizabeth Anne's and medicinal products like Muthi Wenyoni, will be acquired by a major South African manufacturer of home and personal care products. The buyer also gains rights to produce Vi-Daylin multivitamins and recently purchased non-core brands like Bio Classic and Black Silk for 161 million rand. Tiger Brands retains ownership of Purity, focusing on its Baby Nutrition segment as a strategic priority.
