Careful evasion didn’t stop at quickening his pace to dart around everything hostile. It also meant getting higher, to a point where it was difficult to lay a hand on him to begin with. Flying was currently impossible, frustrating as it could be. He put it out of mind to stay cool, focusing instead on how he could use things in his environment with his speed to make it higher in no time.
After a lengthy run, he was still unconvinced by his options this round until he spotted the tall, broad-shouldered man. This man, occupied by dangers or other things as he may be, was near a single-story paint store. Dune knew what he had to do, and sprinted ahead, leaping into the air.
He planned to land his feet briefly on the man’s shoulder, receiving the bounce he needed to land above on the paint shop’s roof. If he was interrupted, it was bound to fail somehow.
