Belle stared at the pass in her hand. That was certainly unexpected. Sure, she’d remembered the tiger who’d come into her shop was a dancer...but she hadn’t realized he was one of Gazelle’s dancers. Well, she definitely had time to go to a concert, seeing as she set her own hours. Maybe she’d take a break from the bookshop for a day.

It was a quiet day at Fawn’s Fables, and Belle was reorganizing one of her filing cabinets when she heard the ring of the bell at the shop entrance. She straightened and turned to see a tiger standing by the door. Her instincts screamed “Danger! Danger!”, and she froze for a bare instant, then calmed herself and smiled welcomingly. After all, what predator would come into a bookshop for a meal? Besides, this was Zootopia. She really oughtn’t be afraid of a tiger here. “Good afternoon, may I help you find something, sir?” she asked cordially.
