Oh man, I just fact checked myself on the thing about Scanlan's mansion and you're absolutely right! Why did I have that written down in my spellbook?! How has no one called me on it?!?

Haha, that’s quite the ace in your pocket. For real though, that would be pretty OP if the mansion was a ritual--it’s basically a free seventh level spell slot with the guaranteed safe camping thrown in.

But honestly, there is a metric fuck ton of spells in the PHB. It’s easy to make mistakes and let something like that slip by--like Marisha says, it’s a lot to keep straight. Especially if a DM has multiple casters in the party who all have different spells.

When I was unemployed it was EXHAUSTING. It was honestly so much easier to just focus on cleaning and things around the house than continuing to comb over my resume and writing draft after draft of my cover letter, and never feeling like it was ever doing me any good. At least when you're doing housework or writing you have something to show for the work you did at the end of the day! I hope things get less stressful soon and you get some time to take a bath and relax!

Thank you so much. It’s the same way here... all of it just feels so useless and unnecessary. Like busywork for no reason. It’s even worse because we’ve been moving so often that it’s like always starting from square one. I was actually close to landing a job in our old city, but we had to move again. It’s disheartening to have to build it all up again. But then taking care of the household is necessary, and writing feels like progress and something I can be proud of.

Tattoo pain depends on your individual pain threshold and the size of what you're doing, really. I have a tattoo on my shoulder blade and another on my ribs and neither of those was too bad. I felt ...drained? after 4 hours of work on my side, but it's really detailed so I knew that one might be rough. I'd recommend something small for your first tattoo if you aren't really sure how your body will react to the tattooing process.

I’ll keep that in mind.

I don’t intend the wing to be anything too big and definitely not too detailed.

Even within the storyline, I don’t understand why someone would make that choice. You find out that the mages have been indentured to a Tevinter magister who is messing with time and you just… go do something else. Sure, okay.

Like, I would assume the idea might be that you just go and do Champions of the Just without going to Redcliffe first, rather than waiting until the point where you can’t advance without choosing one or the other... But Fiona explicitly invites the Inquisitor there in Val Royeaux, while the Lord Seeker just declared the Templars split from the Chantry and the Inquisition heretics, while one of his followers PUNCHED OUT A PRIEST who believed they were on her side.

The whole situation is set up to basically say ‘unless you’re a complete ass, the mages are probably the people you want to talk to.’

And yet, for some reason, BioWare wants to try to present all of this as something to make a choice on?
