Hello new followers who've started following me due to my Gambit brainrot! It's very nice to see you.

It's a little quiet here right now (and it has been for a while), but that's only because a lot of writing is occurring in the background after a period of a long drought. If you're looking for ship stuff then I'm afraid you'll have to look elsewhere for Rogue/Gambit - I'm passionately shipping myself with Gambit through a self-insert, sorry.

No hard feelings if you wanna bounce after reading that; I wish you the best and hope you find another blog that suits your tastes! If you wish to stay, great! I'm 30 years old, I've grown up past the 'i hate wooman character because they get in way of my ship >:(' mentality; there's plenty of the Cajun to go around for us all.

Every single person I knew (past tense) who has drowned was "a strong swimmer." Water in the wild does not care how good you are at swimming.

You are not going to pass a skillcheck against a rip current once it has you.

Waves will not bow to your physical prowess no matter how impressive.

Shock does not care that you used to be on your school swim team.

If you hit your head, being good at swimming isn't going to turn you face-up while you're unconscious.

You may be unable to return to shore. Rescue may be unable to find you quickly.

actually you know what that's exactly it i would rather someone add 5 parantheticals after every sentence than use tone indicators it's 1. accomplishing SO much more in terms of clarity 2. extremely funny to look at depending on how they're used
