We’ve got a new cat backpack!

Tijg isn’t heavy but he’s very lanky and has  a pretty huge frame, so the previous backpack made him have to crouch down a little awkwardly. This new one is big enough to sit up comfortably...

And also to take a nap in. (I found him sound asleep in there later)

I use it primarily for vet trips, since I don’t have a car and a backpack is a thousand times more comfortable for the cat than being strapped to the bike in a hard carrier.

I got him his own special planter so he'd stop squashing my strawberries

It suddenly got cold and this is a hard house to heat, so Tijg became really, really insistent about lapsits (meaning he was cold). And since he's an old man cat, I put the electric blanket on the couch. Took them a day to realise 'ohhhh wait, warms, that's why you keep putting us on here', but now they've got it.

The round cushion is their Get Along Barrier
