List five things that made you happy in 2025, then put this in the askbox of 10 more people. Let's end/start the year with some positivity. 🍀
Happy New Year!🥳
Let me try and channel that positivity I usually lack, for this special occasion haha
1. Discovering PoohPavel
Obviously I knew of them before this year but this year marks my official becoming a part of the Babehoopers along with every day being filled with their talent, silliness, love and affection. It's truly a highlight of this year as well as every single day. I've connected with people over them, I chat about them and find myself enthralled in the fandom space like I haven't in a very long time.
2. HANA finally debuted!
Having been a fan of Chanmina since her debut, I spent the last year 2024 watching her project show No No Girls where HANA would eventually be formed in January this year. It's been a wild ride and they finally debuted and made 2025 THEIR YEAR. I could not be any happier for them and I hope many more people discover and learn to love them. My Oshi is Koharu right in the middle there 🌈
3. Goddess Bless You From Death made and released!
Obviously I have to name my BL of the year Goddess Bless You From Death. I've been looking forward to this project all year, even read the book and fell in love with the story and characters before they ever even made it onto our screens. Much as everyone may see me complain sometimes I genuinely love the adaptation and believe PoohPavel along with the whole cast are doing an exceptional job! A lot of passion went into this project despite their limited time of filming and production, everyone in the team gave it their all from special effects, to production assistance hair and make up and actors. Everyone. I look forward to it every week
4. I took my very first solo vacation to another country
This one's a bit more personal as it has been a personal goal of mine to overcome my fear of travel and so I had booked my very first mini vacation for a different country. In the end it was a neighbouring country yes but I did the flying, public transport and activity planning all by myself. Some may say it is a bit lonely but it felt oddly healing to me. A personal goal of mine I've reached that I can hopefully expand next year with trips a little further away for a little longer.
5. I started editing on tiktok
While I've been an editor for a good 12 years at least already, I definitely took a very long break due to several reasons, some trivial and some not. Either way, with my love for Goddess Bless You From Death I also dared to finally let the creativity flow again and get myself back to editing videos. For the first time with an app on my phone which was a whole new world to me. I'm still not consistent but I'm proud of what I do and I'm also kinda happy that my mindset of not doing it for the views that I've always carried with this hobby also hasn't changed. It's been a joy these last few months.
Thanks for thinking of me Anon, I wish you a happy new year as well! 🌈🥳
