Hello, I'd like to report a scam ad.
TW+CW: injured/disfigured animal
importantly the actual cat is alive and healthy - I have cropped the image so only the cats paws are visible just in case. The cat in the scam ads, Chief, was injured as a kitten; he has a tiktok account where his owner also maps the scam activity related to his image.
Please note: Before clicking through that Chief still has the facial differences from his injuries shown in the scam ads, even if he is doing fine:
I actually got scammed by this under "Christian Lucero" on another website, since the story of the cat was so compelling, but luckily my bank is smarter than I am and blocked it.
Some background if it helps:

(What this ad looks like I assume? - Bee)
I've reported this to tumblr dozens of times over the past few days, but I'm still getting the ads so I realized it might be more helpful if there was information from a bigger blog so that others also don't get tricked.

Hi there!
I actually saw this scam floating around not too long ago, and I think it was also on tumblr when I had my adblock off...
It sucks that this type of ad is being used on tumblr and that it hasn't been taken down or handled yet, as I'm sure you're not the only one who's reported it.
The best thing to do is to keep reporting the ads. If you've done that and it's still up like it is now, i'd try sending them a message via their support page under the 'other' category or some other category and tell them what's going on. :)
Hopefully then it'll get taken down.. :(
This is the Wikipedia article on the ban TikTok law. It was introduced by Republican Mike Gallagher. It was passed by the House and agreed to by the Senate. It was then sent to the office of the President. If President Biden had vetoed the bill it would have gone to Congress where it would be passed by a 2/3rds majority.
And Biden would have been painted as someone who did not care about National Security during the election campaign.

You’re not a failure. You’re a masterpiece still in progress -- being compared to finished counterfeits.
That’s the game now, isn’t it?
Social media is the new sermon on the mount, but the mount’s made of filters, shame, and affiliate links.
🧠 “Wake up at 5AM.” 📈 “Start 12 side hustles.” 🏆 “Men, become high-value.” 🌹 “Ladies, know your worth.”
Meanwhile: Your back hurts. Your rent went up. Your kid’s shoes don’t fit anymore. And some $97 PDF life coach has the gall to say you're falling behind because you’re not running an Etsy empire from your hospital bed.
Let’s talk about these gurus. Let’s talk about the Instagram prophets and TikTok shamans telling young women to “reject weak men” while their own DMs are a graveyard of emotional manipulation. Who sell “masculinity” as domination, while hiding a search history full of humiliation kinks and allegations they pray don’t go public.
Let’s talk about the “divine feminine” coaches who seduce broken women with flowery self-help drivel, then steal their trauma, twist it into hashtags, and leave them broke and lovebombed.
Let’s talk about the male “empathy influencers” who villainize men to gain trust from women, only to sleep with their followers and disappear when the scars come back up.
Not coaches. Not healers. Just pimps in yoga pants.
And don’t even get me started on the “financial experts” screaming that if you don’t have $10k in savings by age 30, you’re a failure of a human being.
Meanwhile, you’re over here:
sharing groceries with your sister
praying the car makes it to payday
wondering if the math on skipping dinner checks out
doing the best you f*cking can while eggs cost more than therapy and therapy ain’t covered.
You are not behind. You are not broken. You are not a failure. You are in a war zone with no map, no inheritance, no safety net, and you still show up.
You make beauty out of nothing. You survive like it’s a sport. You bleed with dignity.
And if that’s not the mark of a masterpiece in progress -- Then burn the museum down.
Reblog if you’re done comparing yourself to content creators selling delusion for clicks. Reblog if you’re a living work of art who just hasn’t finished bleeding yet.

Does anyone remember Chance Terry? The guy whom Victoria/Castiels Angels found on TikTok or Instagram and recruited into her little Legacies/Realms tv series scam? The guy SPN fandom tried to warn, but he got defensive and wouldn't listen because he thought we were jealous or something?
Well, now he seems to be involved in another scammy situation, but this time he's helping run it.
For those who aren't aware, this is happening in the booktok tag on TikTok. It just happened to come across my fyp. Chance and his girlfriend apparently announced this new audio book app called Verba that they're launching later this year. They've been approaching authors on TikTok about being a part of this wonderful new thing, but wouldn't tell anyone what it was until the big "announcement". Several of the authors who were approached are suspicious, and rightly so. There doesn't seem to be anyone attached to this thing who knows what the hell they're doing. They're making all these promises to authors, but there's no way they can actually follow through on them. Hell, the only thing Chance Terry knows about audio books is that he does readings on patreon. Anyway, check the linked TikTok video below for more info about what's going on.

Hey y’all so this TikTok account AmongUsQuality is using people’s art without permission for “skins” when they’re really using their website amongus.dev to scam people out of their money! I can easily confirm this is a scam because above is my Eridan Among Us art and I most certainly did not give permission for it to be used anywhere. I have no idea what to do about this exactly considering it’s a very basic scam site and reporting shit on TikTok is virtually impossible.
You know what a long con is, right?
This is Trump's executive order, August 2020, to ban TikTok.
Never spending money on a tiktok "artist" again.
What a way to waste $180 😦
