"Les Daltons" (2004) closely emulates the colorful style of the og comics but extra-attention has been paid to Lucky Luke himself. Unlike the others characters who had a bit of grime to them, Luke was made to look as pristine and clean as his paper counterpart, like he walked right off the pages of the books. If I recall correctly ,this was intentional to convey the feel of him being the "perfect hero" just like in the comics and cartoons.
