My Adventure to Tilicho Lake
I always dreamed of seeing the highest lake in the world. So, when I heard about the Tilicho Lake trekking route, I knew I had to go. I packed my bag and off I went.
First, some cool facts. Tilicho Lake is really high up, at 4,919 meters. That's even higher than some mountains! The trek is about 18 days long. You walk around for 5 to 6 hours each day. That's a lot of steps! But don't worry, it's not too hard. Even I could do it!
I started my trip in a place called Besisahar. It's a nice town with friendly people. From there, I took a jeep to a place called Chame. That's where the real walking began.
Each day was a new adventure. I walked through green forests and over big hills. I even crossed some fast rivers. The bridges were fun, but a bit scary! I met lots of nice people along the way. We laughed and talked. It was great!
After many days of walking, I finally got to Tilicho Base Camp. It's like a small village with places to sleep and eat. I rested there for a night. The next day was the big day. I was finally going to see Tilicho Lake!
The walk up to the lake was tough. It was steep and rocky. But I took my time. I even saw some big, black birds flying overhead. They were huge!
Then, I saw it. Tilicho Lake. It was amazing! The water was so blue. It was like a big, shiny mirror. The mountains around it were white and tall. It was like something from a dream. I sat there for a long time, just looking at it. It was one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen.
The walk back down was easier. I felt so happy. I did it! I saw Tilicho Lake! The rest of the trip was just as fun. I walked back to Besisahar with a big smile on my face.
So, if you love adventure and beautiful views, the Tilicho Lake trekking route is for you. Take your time. Enjoy the walk. And don't forget to smile at the people you meet. They'll make your trip even better!
