Revelations
“Telling Tim I'm MDC won't change a thing.” Marinette said as she continued stitching. Tikki rolled her eyes at her oh-so wise chosen. “So I won't tell him.”
“Marinette!” Tikki chided. “So what if it doesn't change anything? There's no harm in just telling him!”
“I don't even know if he likes fashion!” She revealed. “And don't you think it's too early in our relationship to just casually drop this bomb?”
“You don't have to do it now. Take all the time you need.”
Marinette frowned. “Yeah.” She said. “I'll…take all the time I need.” The room was filled with silence as she continued with her dress commission.
Five Years Later - A tragedy strikes.
“Hello?” Tim asked into his phone as he fiddled with a small box in his hand. “This is MDC, right?” He heard a surprised yelp from the other side.
“Yes!” The other voice squeaked. It reminded him of his little bean. But now was not the time to appreciate how cute his girlfriend was! He had something important to do! “And you are?”
“Tim Drake-Wayne.” He thought he heard a sharp intake of breath from the other side. “I, uh, wanted to commission a suit?”
“Of course! May I ask why?”
“Well,” He said, a tiny bit of nervousness seeping into his tone, “I'm planning on pr-proposing to my girlfriend of five years and I want the event to be special. She's a designer too and I want it to be perfect.”
He heard a loud crash. Was the designer all right? Was this normal? What was he supposed to say?
“Are you alright? Are you being attacked? Should I call the police?”
“N-no.” The designer stuttered out. “You just caught me off guard!”
“Oh. Well, I apologize.” He said. “Will we be able to meet tomorrow to discuss this further?”
“No- I mean, yes!”
Tim pause, uncertain of what was happening. “Alright then. Thank you for your time.” His finger hovered above the end button. “Oh! Would you mind if the rest of my family came too?”
“They told you they were coming?”
“Oh no.” He said. “I just know they're going to be there.”
“Oh. It's alright then. I look forward to seeing you.” The call ended just as Marinette let out a scream.
“Tikkiiii.” The designer drawled out miserably. “Save me from this hole I've dug myself!” The little fairy only glared at her chosen while taking another bite of her chocolate cookie.
--------
Tim idly tapped his fingers on the sofa he was on. Why was it taking the designer so long?
“Aw, don't be nervous, baby bird!” Dick said a little too loudly. He couldn't help but facepalm as the rest of the family came along.
“Go away.” He said, annoyed. “I can do this alone!”
“I thought you weren't going to follow in Bruce's path. I’m disappointed.” Jason said with a smile a little too fake. His eyes darkened as he came closer. “You better treat the pixie right, replacement.” The threat his voice spoke was enough to have him subtly sweating bullets.
Footsteps announced the arrival of the designer and the family's head whipped around to get a look. A person around 4.11 came out. The person turned and caught the family's eye.
“Eep! Oh wait, no. I mean, welcome!” She-He?- said. The tiny thing was wearing a moustache and a pair of glasses that covered their whole face. Their outfit was the only thing that gave away the identity of the person.
His family stared at the designer.
“What even are you?” Damian suddenly questioned. “ I have never seen a person as manly nor as feminine as you. Who are you?”
The designer huffed a breath a their hand moved towards their chest in an offended act. “You're one to talk about looks! You look just as grumpy as my grandpa!” Their hands moved wildly and in the process, dropped their glasses and moustache.
The family, once again, stared in shock at Marinette. Tim allowed his head to fall against the table with a loud bang.
Well, fuck.

I used one of the old maribat monday prompts because I really liked it but didn't have the time to write it due to exams. There are plenty of other maribat monday prompts coming too! Because I loves literally all of them!
