Basically I don't think Tim and Martin were ever particularly attracted to each other but by god do I think they had a Thing going on before jon came back and they found out about sasha. I could not explain this if I was held at gunpoint. I think they both desperately wanted to connect with each other but never managed to. I think they're two people who could've been friends and just...didn't get in the right situation for it. I think they kissed. I think they slept together. And I think Tim watched his sleeping back and wondered if he'd even been talking to the real Martin. I think they were two people who tried to do the "this situation is horrible and we're all we have so let's form a super intense bond over it" and it just...didn't work out that way.
