Weekend Hike
This Saturday, one of my good friends and previous roommate who graduated from OSU last year came and visited me. We wanted to do something outside regardless of whether or not the outside weather would be cooperating. We decided to go on a hike in Timber Hill in Corvallis which is an area that my friend, Raquel, really enjoys but I have not been to very many times. We went to the Timber Hill area and drove up this hill through a neighborhood to the very top, where we parked our car and hiked up the trail. I really enjoyed this area because there are a lot of trails and pretty houses to see while you’re up there, and even while you are driving. The view is pretty on a nice day, but it is not a very challenging hike if you are an avid hiker or strictly doing it for exercise purposes.

The weather was not exceptional on Saturday by any means, but we managed to go during a pocket of sun and mild temperatures.

The rest of the day we just hung out with the rest of my roommates, and later that night we went to a couple bars on campus to meet people we haven't seen in awhile. Overall, it was a relaxing weekend and I am really glad Raquel made the trip down to come visit!
