What Really Happened at the End of “Art in the Blood” Part II
I wrote this small list of AUs a few months back when I saw someone post a gif of Joan covering herself at the end of 2x23 when Sherlock walks in and surprises her in bed in nothing but her lingerie (can we note that we’ve only seen Joan in lingerie never regular underwear the woman knows when she’s gonna get laid). The gif didn’t show Sherlock, so these AUs cover several possibilities of who’s walking in on Joan while she’s wearing only lingerie. (And of course they’re not in mycrosoft’s apartment pfft)
Joan and Sherlock sleep together and Mycroft walks in on them
Joan and Sherlock are undercover in a hotel and room service walks in on them
Joan and her sapphic dalliance are in a hotel and Sherlock and/or Mycroft walk in on them (this would definitely involve Joan saying something scathing to Sherlock and/or Mycroft and/or teasing Sherlock idc but she shows disdain toward Mycroft if he’s there alright)
Joan is staying at a hotel while Sherlock has one of his exercise partners over and Sherlock walks in on her (with or without said exercise partner with him); this scenario was heavily influenced by this ficlet by @time-converges, I love it so much
