It just occurred to me what a good thing it is that Plunder doesn't require both eyes like Time Leap does. Because he has to be able to see someone to Plunder them.
Also the reason why it's a good thing he didn't go back to save Kumagami. That would have started a habit of using time travel to fix everything- until he went blind, and then he wouldn't be able to Plunder anymore, because he couldn't see the person. Everything would have fallen to pieces if he'd used Time Leap too much.
Did anybody else get minor whiplash when they mentioned FREAKING TIME TRAVEL?!?
Like... yeah, that's a superpower, all right, but they gave us absolutely NO clues that such a power was even possible.
And yet, because the show is SO meticulously planned, it doesn't seem forced. You know, most of the time, when time travel shows up late in the story, it seems forced, rushed, just a trope to try and solve all the problems that they've set themself up for. That's not the case here. They introduced time travel in the exact. same. conversation in which they reveal that the brother that they've been hinting at since the VERY. FIRST. EPISODE. does, in fact, exist. Which can only mean that time travel has always existed, and they're finally gonna show us how and why.
