What would be UT/UF!Sans and US!Papyrus' reaction if their consciousness (and Max's) traveled to the timeline where S/O is paralyzed. Instead of being Max who visits her, it's them. Then, S/O asks them to end her life. If they refuse to do it, besides saying what Chloe would say, she adds, "Man, I don't know what I saw in you..." If they accept to do it, she adds, "I love you. Wish I would've said this sooner" (because in this timeline, somehow, they're just close friends) before dying.

It was a curse; there were no other explications because he still remembered S/O, Max and all that story. A maleficent curse that persecuted him for eternal times and Sans was sick and tired of it and he just wanted to rest in peace. If this was a nightmare, he desired desperately to wake up in a normal reality. If this was the price to pay for having loved, so he would have stopped now and he wanted the compensation for the damages this life caused to him because all of this was unfair and nonsense. Sans had too many responsibilities and pain on his shoulders. This time, he was seeing his S/O in that miserable condition, they were paralyzed and sick on a wheelchair and their life was a hell. He felt so guilty and confused because it was so horrible and he felt so sad for them, too. He had no blame because he did not do anything and he was just a mere spectator in this wicked game, but it seemed he had more power that he thought. His vision became black, just like his orbits, because the question his S/O has already said shocked him. He was trembling like the leaves of a tree during an autumn’s night and he would have fallen, sooner or later. It was too much to handle for him.  Killing his S/O again…? How could he do something like this? It was their desire and it was their life, if it was their last wish maybe… Sans was too confused and he could not think rationally. His S/O was the one who have suffered more that anyone else. They were dying in every timelines like they were the true plague of this universe. They were doomed in every ages and, despite this, they have always taken the responsibilities without complaining. They have never been egoist or cynic, and they have always accepted their infamous fate. This fate was the most infamous because they were paralyzed and they felt so miserable, a burden for their parents who were paying all the medical costs of their cures.  It was useless anyway because they were destined to die soon. It was all about to lose time until that day came. Now or never. Sans had to respect their last request.Sans pulled the plug, deciding to end S/O’s sufferance now. Before S/O ‘s death, they said to him they loved him so much even if it was too late and S/O thought this love was hopeless because of their disability. S/O did not want to make Sans’ life more difficult like they already did with their parents. S/O just felt like a parasite and it was better if they disappeared for the joy of everyone. Sans did not feel all that joy and he was crying like a baby, it was so rare seeing him crying. He stopped even to show his fake smile, he felt so dull and empty. He said to love them so much, closing their eyes while he was caressing their face for the last time.

It was true, the history was destined to repeat itself, Sans understood it very well this last period.Actually, he felt nothing at all, because he already cried all his tears and his hopes were dead so long ago, from the very start of this catastrophe. He had no reason to live anymore after he permitted to S/O to die the first time and he felt so guilty, even if it was the most rational way and the most awful, too.  Seeing his S/O immobilized in a bed, unable to move themselves like if they were a plant or an ornament, it was too sad and unfair.  He could not imagine a destiny more horrible than this, he was used to see them so free and enthusiastic, they were just like a volcano of energy and now they were paralyzed and inert.  Just like a butterfly to whom someone has burnt its wings and now they were dying through the flames of their last breath. He did not want to be here looking at them like this. His soul was unable to handle this situation one more minute.After a while, S/O asked to him that they wanted to die because S/O was tired to be a burden for their parents and they were extremely indebted with the insurance company and the medical costs were too expensive, but their parents have never complained for it. They have always paid, sacrificing themselves for S/O’s love even if it was useless because the doctor said they were hopeless and they would have never healed. Inside, Sans was desperate even if he showed no kinds of emotions and he appeared so stoic and apathetic because everything was too much atrocious. Sans had no choice and he couldn’t see S/O so distressed and he should have respected their death wish, he would have asked for the same if he was in this situation. This was not living, and it was not life. It was neither survival, it was just waiting for the unavoidable. To be one with the eternal nothingness. The fate was always the same.S/O was happy he decided to indulge their desire because it was so important for them. It was not the end, it was the possibility S/O was giving to their parents to live a better life. A second choice with no more debts and worries. Then, the thin line of the electrocardiogram became completely flat.Sans exploded crying all the tears he kept until this moment and it seemed he could not stop himself while he was holding their cold hand.

Oh, it was happening again and he was devastated that he could not think anymore and his brain was lost in confusion and desolation. Everything appeared to him like a big question mark and the sensation of inadequacy was killing himself inside. S/O found themselves in a vegetative state unable to move and to be independent from the machines that kept them alive. He could not believe his eyes, because it was the most horrible fate ever. It was worse than dying, because it was like a limbo. It was not life but it was neither death. It was something inexplicable like a conscious coma and you had only to wait for the end of your precarious existence.   Anyway, Papyrus did not know what to think about it, he was pitying so much S/O because it was unfair. He was the one who did not want to be in this situation and he had a bad feeling. He was sure he had to take a decision this time, too. This game was driving him mad because he did not deserve this. Life was something extremely cruel and sadistic because it was never enough. He had to suffer for the rest of his life in any timelines. No, he refused to believe in something like this.After S/O asked for his help to end ther life, Papyrus was shocked. It was too much. He was the one who wanted to kill Max when they asked him the same thing,  but that situation was quite difference even if S/O has always been the sacrificial lamb to donate to the gods and it was ironical and painful.   At first. Papyrus refused to do it because the blame was too big to handle and he did not want to be the executor. Even if their life was unliveable, it was too much to ask. Then, there would have been consequences because he had no right to pull the plug and his soul was still suffering. S/O said that phrase and Papyrus felt so mortified and depressed because it seemed he had the blame of everything. He truly loved S/O but he could not see them dying in front of his eyes again. Their words truly shocked him, so he started to cry explaining to them it was not the first time he saw them disappearing like this, even if the S/O of this dimension could not understand his delirium. S/O felt so bad for it, but they said sorry to Papyrus, and when he stopped to cry, he decided to respect their last wish. His consciousness was still dirty and corrupt so it was inevitable.Papyrus chose to put an end to their life, and everything went back to black.

Basics: able to reverse and forward time, objects, and living things. Able to pinpoint injuries and reverse the damage taken as a way of healing people. Is a mercenary kinda due to being lazy and yet able complete his task when bribed. Is neither a hero or villain (but due to his nature, people think he is an arrogant mobster). Let's say S/O doesn't have the rewind powers, but her childhood friend has (let's name her Max 😂). Anyway, nature starts getting crazy like in LiS, and a storm is coming. There are only two options: sacrifice S/O to save everyone, or sacrifice the town in Ebott (monsters have already come to the surface). Max tells UT/US skelebros, not sparing them from the truth — she'll sacrifice S/O, by going back in time, and they won't remember S/O, as if they had never met.

Oh, well…It seems the sufferance for Sans will never end, he hates taking decisions especially when they are so important and difficult. He would like to pass the ball of responsibility to somebody else, for once. Can you ask someone else? He is not in the mood now, maybe everyone should die, so this story will be forever over? It’s because of Max who does not know how to use their power, they are the true guilty. They should have left the time in peace without interfering in that dumb timeline. Sans is sick and tired of all these games, he would like to ignore everything, this time. He is too exhausted for thinking and being rational. But it seems he has no choice, he feels under pressure.Sans would choose to sacrifice S/O because their fate was to die from the very start. Then, if S/O’s destiny was that, even after the “reset”, city’s sacrifice would have been useless. And this crazy situation would come again. He is so sorry, but it seems the only way. If fate exists, they would meet again in another life or in another (and more peaceful) timeline. It seems the less dramatic solution and Sans got used to see the persons he loves dying in front of his eyes, business as usual, right?He hopes to forget for real this situation, because his mental health is too injured. He cannot see anybody dying again, no!

⌛ Pappy ⏳

Papyrus does not understand what is happening, he is so confused, and he is unsure if he should believe Max or not. He is not so informed about timelines and this kind of stuff. It’ s something totally new for him, and this request is too absurd. He wants everyone to be alive, but he wants also to remember and love S/O. He feels so frustrated and useless. He does not want to be S/O’s inquisitor; despite he is going to forget this entire story. His future self would never accept something like this. He would never be capable to live with his dirty conscience knowing he took this decision. It’s something too problematic.He wants to find another way… It’s impossible to save all the people and S/O at the same time.He would like to find a better solution but the catastrophe is imminent. There’s no time to lose.I may think Papyrus is unable to take a decision of this calibre, he would be capable to sacrifice himself but never other’s lives, his heart is too pure and he could become crazy.  I can imagine he does not take any decision, at the end. Max should decide alone or everyone will die. Because the time is already over. No more choice, no more future for anybody.

⌛ Blueberry ⏳

Sans does not have any idea of what Max is saying, he is not so informed about the timelines, too.These visions are so similar to the ones his brother saw in his nightmares, since Papyrus was used to tell about his dreams to Sans when he could not sleep. Sans is an understanding brother so he has never judged Papyrus thinking he was crazy because of his nightmares that he considered alternative realities. Maybe his brother was right since this place became the Hell in Earth. He is able to think more rationally than Pappy because Sans is more rational and he is able to think even in the most problematics scenarios thanks to his training, and Sans is less naive than Pappy is. I may say, Sans would sacrifice S/O, since it seems the less violent choice, even if his heart was broken, but he could not see his brother and all his friends wiped out by the Tornado. Sans hopes to meet his S/O again, because he wants to believe it, even if this is just an illusion. He wants to keep his hopes high. Then, Max has to reassure him that S/O’s sacrifice will be not in vain.

Papyrus is very tired of all these problems and he would like to rest himself once in his awful life.Actually, his reaction is a little too violent and he loses his patience and he does not want to take a decision like this, since he has suffered enough in this life. Maybe all this planet should be dusted away because nobody deserves to live, we are all sinners after all. We are all pieces of shit who ruin time and life, even without owning some fucking time-power. This is what he thinks about the situation. He tries to attack Max because it’s all their fault if this Tornado is destroying the city and they should have minded their own business instead of playing with time pretending to be God. Papyrus does not give a shit if it was for a good cause. He knows that attacking Max is useless since they can rewind time, so it seems he just wants to lose time waiting for the inevitable. At the same time, he does not desire seeing his brother dying again and all these deaths are useless and unfair. He is too shocked!At the end, S/O should be the one who decides to sacrifice themselves for everyone, since it’s their life, and Papyrus is truly irritated and angry, and he truly wants to kill Max, he gives all the blame to them. The situation becomes more complicated. Really, he is too frustrated to take any type of decision.

You know he does not trust people easily, since he lives in hell and everything is unfair. None here deserves to live, and you keep helping everybody, it’s nonsense.One day, he decides to approach you, and you are thinking the worst and you imagine he wants to murder you, but he wants only to know what game you are playing. At the end, you explain to him the truth since it’s obvious he knows something more than the other people, and Sans is unsure if he should trust you or not. Yeah, he decides to trust you.Actually, he does not care about the ruined timelines and all the problems derived from them. You can do what you want with this power; he has already seen so many horrible and weird thigs in his life. One weirdness more or less won’t make a difference for him.

After you realized the piece of shit Papyrus was, you decided to use your power to mess with him, resolving all his puzzles because the way he treated everyone was unfair and you wanted to teach him a lesson. You acted like a jerk with him, explaining all the tricks like you were a puzzle’s expert. He really get mad at you because it was impossible that a mere human like you could be smarter and greater than him in this game. His own game! He felt so offended that he started to attack you with his bones attacks, but you reacted using your time- power repeating the actions until you won the battle. Yes, it was funny but also insolent because you felt so guilty, since you were not that kind of person. You were not a bully or an asshole so you decided to talk with Papyrus confessing your power, you apologised to him because you acted like a true dick. Actually, you cheated and you were not so great in puzzles games. Papyrus laughed at you, he was sure you were a dirty cheater because he was too great and you could only use those stupid tricks to win against him. After he treated you like shit, making you feel more mortified than ever, he understood your power was not so useless. You could be his personal weapon, with you and your time-power by his side none would have never defeated him. It seems, this was a bigger problem than the time paradoxes.
