The topic of mental health needs to move to the forefront of conversation. As fitness professionals we are continually cheering for healthy bodies and lifestyle. While we do that in the arenas of exercise and food we should also remember to encourage our clients to seek ways to reduce stress and reach out for help if suffering from mental illness. This topic hits close to home for me and I know for many of you as well, but is seldomly discussed.
