So I just wanted to say that I reported that page (girls i like to make pregnant) twice, and both times facebook told me they wouldn't delete it because it wasn't against the rules, but about an hour ago I got a notification saying that they reviewed their opinion ( and they deleted the page! Yay! (sorry if I asked this twice, Tumblr is having a fit)
you didn’t ask twice m’love. I got it back saying it was gone now too. I’m just a little shocked about how many people on here were willing to help me out to be honest. It was so lovely of everyone and I’m glad that it’s over.
(Hey! Sorry to bother you. I'm just wondering how you chose who to RP as. What was your process in choosing Thor?)
// Not bothering me at all dear :) . It's going to sound funny but my sisters obsession with him, she was always reading the comic books and I watched Tales of Asgard with her along side the marvel movies and cartoons. She asked me a couple of times if I could write her small fanfiction stories and it only got worse after the Avengers lol
I just got so used to writing about him that I thought why not RP as Thor. I wanted to have a spin on my character though as there are so many good RPers that play canon Thor so hence he gave up Asgard and is running a petshop :)
Hope my answer was what you were looking for, don't ever eel like you are bothering me with asks, I love interaction with people.
(posting it instead of PM it cause maybe more people wonder the same thing)
Thank you! And I can understand why you prefer English! I find that French has way more rules and difficult ones at that. I'm particularly not so very fond of the subjunctive.
Honestly one of the few reasons I'm happy to be French is that I didn't have to learn French as a second language. Sure, English has this thing where you pronounce differently words that are written the same but other than that, it's pretty straight forward. And French tenses are just hell. Present subjunctive is ok but other than that, I think most people (even French people) just give up. Either we try another way to say what we want to say or we just say whatever and nobody notices (honestly, who even use pluperfect subjunctive anymore?).
But I really do admire people who decide to learn French. And if you ever need advice or proofreading or something, don't hesitate to ask.
"Knack" as in "to have a knack for" (I'm writing an essay for French so this is a perfect timing!)
Well, I think I can translate "to have a knack for" but then again it depends on the context. Live, if it's something you're naturally really good at, it would be "j'ai un don pour". Or if it's when you always get into trouble or something it would be more like "j'ai le chic pour". Or if it's something that you can make, as in physically, I'd probably say "j'ai le coup pour". And right then you understand why I prefer English to French.
Okay so, I haven't been on for like two weeks now, due to shitty things in my life, but I'm back.
I've been tagged twice by the lovely rumbleroar-on-mars so I'm gonna do them both now.
Rules:
1. Always post the rules.
2. Answer the questions you were tagged on and make 11 new ones.
3. Tag 11 new people and link them to your post.
4. Let them know they were tagged.
1. Favourite musical artist?
Do you mean, my favourite artist in a musical or my favourite musician/singer? Because if it's the first one well, I don't know many of them (musicals aren't such a big thing in France and I'm getting into it but my knowledge is still pretty limited). If it's favourite musician/singer, I'd say, Matt Bellamy (well, Muse in general), because I think he's something close to a genius. And if we're talking classical music, then Chopin is my guy.
2. Coffee or tea?
Well, that depends. I like both. I'm more of a coffee person in the morning, or when I have a headache. But I can easily drink 3-4 mugs of tea during the cold winter days. If I could only drink one for the rest of my life, I'd drink tea.
3. Marvel or DC?
I have to say Marvel. I know both of them mainly through the movies and I really preferred the Marvel ones. I'm not a big fan of Batman or Superman (I have not seen Man of Steel yet though) and I admit that it kind of stopped me from trying to see what the other characters were like. But anyway, Spiderman is probably my favourite superhero so I'll go with Marvel.
4. What came first, the chicken or the egg?
Do you really want to make my head explode? No but seriously, I think the egg came first, because that chicken has to come from an egg, but that egg may have been laid by another animal, very close genetically to a chicken but not really a chicken. You know, genetic mutations and stuff.
5. If someone told you you could go into space, would you?
Hell yeah! Why wouldn't I? It must be amazing, seeing other planets, seeing the Earth from that far away and all. Yes, definitely!
6. Favourite TV show?
The obvious choice here is Doctor Who. It's probably the only show I can re-watch without fast forwarding parts of the episode. In the shows that are over, I really liked Veronica Mars and I'm really excited for the movie.
7. Favourite movie?
That's a hard one. Most of the movies I watch are my favourite movies. But those I have re-watched most often are Pride & Prejudice (the 2005 version), Juno, a French movie called RRRrrrr, and L'arnacoeur (Heartbreaker, I think, in English).
8. If you could spend a day with any fictional character, who would you choose? (my mum thought of this question)
Another tough one. I would say the Doctor but I'm not sure I'd like to spend only one day with him you know, it just wouldn't be enough. But yeah, I'll go with the Doctor. I mean, the guy has seen everything, it has to be interesting. And one day is better than nothing.
9. What is your religion, if any?
I'm an atheist so I guess it counts more as a philosophy than as a religion. I completely respect people who believe but I just don't really understand it.
10. Would you rather battle 1000 duck sized horses or 2 horse sized ducks?
I'll go with the 1000 duck sized horses. Because a duck sized duck can already do a lot of damage so I don't want to imagine what 2 horse sized ducks could do. And if I master those 1000 duck sized horses, I could have my own army of little horses and we would conquer the world!
11. What question should I have asked?
Uh, I don't know... What's the last film you saw? Should I answer it too? If so, then that's "A Single Man" with Colin Firth and Julian Moore. Good film. Would recommend.
And now the second batch:
1. If you were a cannibal, who would you want to eat?
What kind of question is that? I don't know... Who are you supposed to eat first, someone you really love or someone you really hate? Or a random person that just looks tasty? I don't know. I really don't know.
2. Twitter or Facebook?
I don't spend much time on Facebook but I don't have a Twitter at all so I guess Facebook.
3. You’re walking down a path in the middle of nowhere. The path splits in two. On the left is a dark forest with an eerie feel to it. On the right is an undiscovered beach with a glowing light emitting from it. Which way do you go?
I don't really like forests, especially if it's dark so I'll take the path on the right.
4. Would you become a rock for a day?
Well, it would mean getting away from my worries and responsibilities for a day so, yeah, why not?
5. Lions or llamas?
Well, lions seems to be lazy assholes that eat their cubs when they think they're gonna take their place (lionesses are another story, though, I love them) so I'll say llamas. I met tons of llamas during my vacations (yay llama park) and they were pretty chill.
6. Favourite gaming platform?
I don't play video games a lot but I'm a Nintendo kid because of my brother so I'd say the Wii and the DS.
7. Favourite album?
Black Holes and Revelations, by Muse, hands downs. Purists will say that it was the beginning of the "commercial" Muse but I love that album. I love all of their albums, really. Just because their music has changed doesn't mean it's not good anymore.
8. Do you like any YouTubers?
Well, no. I see them on my dashboard so I know a few of them but I have never watched any of them.
9. Would you eat an entire tin of dog food for one million pounds/dollars/whatever?
Uh, yeah, without a doubt! Dog food (in tin) is just meat with seasoning so, although I wouldn't make it my daily meals, I'd totally do it for money.
10. Toby Maguire or Andrew Garfield?
I'm assuming you're speaking of their incarnation of Spiderman. Then Andrew Garfield. I mean, Toby Maguire was great but Andrew Garfield has that awkwardness and that sass that just speaks to me you know. And that costume, I mean, could it be any tighter? (Yes, I do know objectification is bad, sorry... But that ass!).
11. Current favourite song?
I listen to Julian Perretta's That All a lot lately. But two songs I listen at least daily are Radioactive, by Imagine Dragons, and Panic Station, by Muse.
And now for the questions:
What's the last film you saw?
Do you want to get married someday or is marriage something you're opposed to (or anything in between)?
Do you like to cook and if so, what's your speciality?
If you could bring back the clothing from any historical period, which would it be?
If you were a Hogwarts student, what would be your favourite and least favourite subjects?
What are the signs that let you think/know you're gonna (dis)like somebody when you first meet them?
If you could be a mythical creature, which one would you be?
What are your turn-on(s)/turn-off(s)?
Any absolute NOTP(s)?
What TV show/film cast would you like to be friends with?
Do you think words carry more meaning when they're said or when they're written?
