Hello everyone!

My little sister, Madison, is going to Osaka, Japan for her study abroad experience this summer. She’s been accepted to her Japanese University and is eager to leave June 5th, however, she still needs some help. We come from a very impoverished family, and thus cannot afford to help her entirely on our own.

She plans to teach English to Japanese students and work as an ESL teacher post-graduation. She has been studying the language here at UT Knoxville, however, in order to truly become fluent she needs to be immersed in Japan and Japanese culture.

All funds from this gofundme will go towards her flight ($2,000 on avg), her meals for the summer, personal care items, and other misc things for her schooling. If you can help in anyway, whether it be via donation or just reblogging this post, it would be much appreciated!
