Last minute, thrown together Lucy Preston vodka night cosplay for the con! 😁
Nothing happened, but... how exactly did Lucy’s shirt get untucked?
Teaser for my newest Garcy WIP.
Self-conscious, he searches where her eyes are focused, but finds nothing out of the ordinary on himself. He looks up, and now she's biting her lip and fixated on his eyes. She's definitely had too much to drink. So has he. He laughs nervously. "What?"
In The King of the Delta Blues episode Mason says: “so we’ll just remove the deceased—” AND RUFUS IMMEDIATELY GOES TO GRAB THE CORPSE’S LEGS. Flynn stands right next to him and later does ‘remove the deceased.‘ I’m howling. Imagine those two getting rid of a body together.
2x06: Wyatt Logan, though
I adored this episode. It was beautiful in all the ways an episode can be beautiful. I could spend a million years writing out every detail I loved about it (and I still might!) but I want to focus on Wyatt for a moment, because even though he wasn’t in it as much as he usually is, this was a good episode for him. I think this episode is going to be the beginning of the end of his honeymoon phase with Jessica, as he starts to realise what he stands to lose from it.
What Wyatt Can Do:
Sleep with Jessica. They’re all adults, and if Rufus or Lucy are willing to sleep on the couch every once and a while to let him have some alone time with his wife, then so be it. It might be weird (and a bit of a dick move). But he can do that.
Be a soldier for Agent Christopher. It’s what he was trained to do and he does it well (I mean, did you see him?? Good god, who needs an army when you have Wyatt Logan on your side!). He’s an asset and a good one. He can do that.
What Wyatt Can’t Do:
Expect to come home from trips and have Lucy drop everything to catch up with him like old times. To make nice like old times. As long as he is committed to someone else, he can’t expect that to happen. It’s not fair to Lucy to toy with her heart like that. He can’t do that.
Expect Lucy to keep Flynn at arm’s length. Flynn has proven himself to be an asset in his own right and is clearly capable of holding his own. If the team trusts him, then Wyatt can’t say a word. And if Lucy wants to make Flynn her new confidant, then he has no right to interfere. He can’t choose to be with Jessica and then expect Lucy not to move on. He can’t do that.
I think Wyatt is going to be thinking long and hard about what kind of future he wants for himself in the next few episodes. He can’t have it all - something’s gotta give. And to be honest, relationship sentimentality and a sense of a duty to serve are only good motivators for so long.
Timeless 2x06 "The King of the Delta Blues" Promo - When Rufus and Jiya add a fourth seat to the Lifeboat, for the first time ever, Connor Mason joins the team as they travel back to the dusty backroads and smoky juke joints of the Depression-era South to rescue the life and legacy of Robert Johnson – King of the Delta Blues, Godfather of Rock n’ Roll and a man who, legend has it, bought his musical genius from the Devil for the price of his soul. Meanwhile, Agent Christopher keeps Wyatt in the present to execute a dangerous raid on Rittenhouse headquarters.
My favorite celebrity Timeless fan
Timeless 2x06. Connor Mason’s drunken ass trying to figure out what do with his life and generally pondering his existential crisis by partying with 1936 blues legends while he’s supposed to handle his present responsibilities like saving the world, was the most relatable thing in this episode by far.
