SEMA is synonymous with outrageous rides, extreme modifications and nothing but the most powerful vehicles around. With that in mind, the vehicle you see here should not surprise you – although, I have to admit I feel overwhelmed just by looking at it. Surely, there are numerous Mustang projects revealed at the event every year, but this stunning 1965 Ford Mustang by Timeless Kustoms is in a league of its own.
Appropriately dubbed Vicious, the Mustang was transformed from a stock 1965 model into the customized beauty we see here. The team at Timeless Kustoms removed the original roof, revised the body-lines and added a custom Art Morrison chassis, as well as Ridetech Triple Adjustable coilovers sourced off a Corvette.
The drool-inducing wide body-kit hides a 5.1-liter Ford Performance V8, complemented by a Magnuson TVS supercharger and two turbochargers from Precision Turbo. This translates into more than 1,000 hp, while a MagnaFlow high-flow exhaust system handles the soundtrack.
Further technical details worth mentioning include the Centerforce DYAD clutch and sequential six-speed transmission. The vehicle rides on the same tires as the Dodge Viper ACR, to keep it in check, while 15.5-inch carbon ceramic rotors and 6-piston front calipers and 4-piston rear calipers work hard on keeping it safe when the moment requires it.
The cabin has been completely transformed and looks unrecognizable – in the best of ways. Here, you will find comprehensive gauges and an overall red theme that covers the leather throughout, as well as Motec digital display, a three-spoke Sparco steering wheel, and massive paddle shifters. Mind = blown!
