Yami Sukehiro attacks the Death Star.
Is That A New Moon
The Tarkin Doctrine is literally so funny to me. The guy literally said, "Let us rule through fear of force rather than through force itself," and then people were so afraid that they actually fought back. Like, the reason that people were willing to put up with them was that they weren't too concerned about the Empire touching them specifically. Even Luke thinks this way until he sees that no one is out of the way of the Empire. To build a giant superweapon is basically saying, "Yeah, we're gonna start killing indiscriminately," which reduces the motivation to aid the Empire. If a single person on your planet helps the rebels, you all die. The only way to ensure you don't die turns out to be to stop the Empire for good.
And then the Death Star, which was explicitly built to inspire fear and not actually be used to apply force, got attacked by a coordinated rebel strike. Of course it was destroyed.
I don’t want to talk about how long this took me. My brother should have never given me an Apple Pen.
somebody on the soul eater subreddit just went on a long ass rant about how much they hate blackstar and wish he would shut up. was told they'll probably come around to him if they read the manga but they staunchly denied it. the icing on the cake is that they have the death the kid flair
