Had a nice surprise on my Tumblr today: Timelordsteven followed me!
You may know him better, actually, as "the bloke who introduced this year's Doctor Who Proms".
Makes me a bit guilty that my Doctor Who Countdown Viewer's Guide went belly-up due to me having to prep for an gastroscope exam, that has since been cancelled twice and been re-established for next week. Since the next series of Doctor Who won't be on next year until around August or mid-September at best, I might do something for the benefit of new viewers then.
In the meantime, the Proms ... weren't they bloody brilliant like always?! This year was more awesome than most regardless of the bits they cut out. I got teary-eyed over the Rings of Akhaten solo (despite what people may say about the episode, that scene was beautiful), partied with the Daleks (their bits are always good fun), and enjoyed the epicness of the Classic Series Medley (the Logopolis and Curse of Fenric bits were my favourites).
Just three months to go until the 50th Anniversary movie (remember, it's being shown in the cinemas as well as on TV worldwide, so it's not like the movie/TV special kerfuffle in 1996). November can't come quickly enough!

1.Who’s your ultimate Brotp?
Oh no, there are so many and now I can’t think of any of them on the spot aaaaah D: Right now it’d be Mike and Sulley because I just saw Monsters University. But come back to me on that, I’m sure it’ll just hit me at some random point in the next few days.
But if you’re asking who I love so much as friends and would hate to see shipped romantically (which you’re not, but I’m saying it anyway), it’s the Doctor and Donna. They are SO GOOD as best friends and she’s exactly what the Doctor needs and if that ever became romantic I would die inside and the world would be upside down and I would cry every day.
2. What’s your best talent?
I’d say the oboe. I’m pretty good at that and I don’t mind saying it because I started off really shy with it (seriously, I used to get embarrassed just doing a trill) and it’s taken me years to really enjoy being good at it and now I LOVE SHOWING OFF :D:D
3. Have you ever smashed a watermelon with a hammer, and if not, do you want to?
YES PLEASE.
4. What is something you’ve always wanted to do but never could?
Cut my hair short and dye it random colours. I’m too attached to my hair and now I’m incredibly bored with it.
5. What’s your biggest fear?
Coming to the end of my life and regretting living so sensibly and cautiously. After all, “It is impossible to live without failing at something, unless you live so cautiously that you might as well not have lived at all - in which case, you fail by default.”
6. If you could revive one fictional character from any show that has died, which character would you choose and from which show?
Mufasa. Always Mufasa.
7. What time do you normally wake up?
It changes depending on what I have to do that day. At the moment, it’s 9am because I’m going to Greek camp next week, so I have to get up early and revise to make sure I haven’t forgotten it all from last year :P
8. If you could have one superpower, what would it be and why?
To fly. I’ve always wanted to just because it would be so beautiful and peaceful. But invisibility is pretty cool too. Oh, and water bending. And you can’t forget the cool tricks you can do with airbending. Okay, just give me all the superpowers.
9. Do you have siblings, and if not, do you want one?
I have an older brother, and I always wanted a little brother as well so I could torment him relentlessly and get away with it so I could take care of a little cute person…
10. What’s your favorite food?
NUTELLA. And chicken. But not together, god no.
11. Do you like to cook or bake, and if so, are you good at it?
Yes! I made some weeping angel and TARDIS cookies the other day that looked awesome until I tried to decorate them and then they turned out like blobs of blue gunk :/

Ok thanks. I usually do but forgot to briefly. Sorry again. Last thing I wish is for people to label me as something I am not. Plus I treat people as I want to be treated so that is in a nice polite friendly manner with no disrespect and certainly no objectifiying. I should know better I have read in the past about that on posts about people objectifying women and men just cause they dress as there fave characters and it is wrong and not appreciated by either sexes. Slapped myself.
At least you realized that you were wrong, and actually apologized for it! A LOT of people never to that, so that’s wonderful!

It's cool, man. You should have just said that in stead! That's a good compliment, and you won't sound creepy. I just don't like been talked about that way, makes me feel objectified and it's not cool. Talk to girls/women with respect, and then you won't creep them out! :)
