I think its definitely about the watermelon Stevens but it might be a different island, since they’d been to that island somewhat recently in “Island Adventure”

Do outfit changes like that on the one beach episode or pearls space outfit require the same focus as shape shifting or do you think it's just a temporary outfit change like wearing a different shirt or pants throughout the day?

unsure, I’d say its like shapeshifting but its such a minor change that it doesn’t really take that much effort, as opposed to shapeshifting that dramatically alters their core form. However its also possible they just have some kind of prefabricated clothing in their gem (maybe also made of light? But premade and ‘disposable’?), like how Pearl’s spacesuit was like an ‘old’ suit in that it had the pink diamond symbol on it. Of course she could’ve just shapeshifted something from an old memory but it could be something like taking it out of storage sort of thing, its something she’s had around she never got rid of.

Gem clothing could be, like, prefabricated hard-light ‘skins’ they can put over their default form, like changing the theme of some program, a purely cosmetic thing. But there’s like a default ‘skin’ they have that’s the outfit they chose upon regeneration? So that’s their ‘neutral’, but they do have other stuff they ‘made’ that they can put over it? I dunno.

Is Rose the only gem that doesn't have colored irises? If so, why do you think this is?

yea, she’s the only Gem so far without colored eyes. There might be a bigger reason for it but without anything else to go on, I’ll have to say its an artistic choice. They wanted her eyes to look a specific way (very anime) and it worked better without an eye color. Especially since her eyes would likely be pink and that would probably end up looking a bit off

Here's the new babe, Rainbow Quartz!! C4 for my moirail, aka timeofmage If all goes as planned, this is the last drawing I'll have to do on the iPad(no more drawing with my index finger)! I finally got a drawing pad as a late birthday present, and my dad's going currently running out and getting the right cord for it. It's probably gonna take me a while to adjust, considering all my experience with digital art is via ipad, but hopefully I adjust quick enough to get the rest of these guys done. Speaking of which, ask box is still open! Ask your heart out, I really need practice to adjust to drawing with a stylus.
