character in general — you have so many blogs how do I even pickhow they play them — I mean I love all of your blogs??? including this one , even though I haven’t seen too much of your au twelve on my dash yet. whenever the show does something shitty , I know you’re going to be there to make it better omg - or at least ignore the events on your blog. I feel like I have nOTHING to say for you , compared to some of the other ones , but it’s honestly just because I’m always like ‘ oh nice somewhat has another blog , it’s going to be great , hell yeah ‘the mun — you’re like a combination of sass and salt. mostly salt. and I love it. I can always count on you to turn something into a meme. you’re also an ok person - but like , just ok. : )

My Opinion on;

Character in general: I like AUs. I like that they are often more imaginative and authentic than what canon sometimes gives us. You’re playing an AU Twelve, and I’ve already told you I think you’re awesome for picking an fc who isn’t another white dude.How they play them: Even as an AU, he definitely feels like the Doctor–and not just in a superficial way. I like the influence that Classic Who Docs have on your interpretation. It makes him feel more like a continuation of a long history than an almost wholly new thing that makes vague shout-outs to the past to pander to the audience. I also like that your Doctor is ace/aro bc less romantic/sexual Doc generally feels more canon to me than other takes tbh.The Mun: You have strong opinions and are not afraid to express them XD You scare me a little because of that (conflict makes me a bit anxious) but I also tend to agree with some of your unpopular opinions so? Keep being you. It’s kind of nice to see someone unabashedly willing to have a public opinion that not everyone will agree with, and who doesn’t fly off the handle when people disagree.

What is my;

Overall Opinion: Somewhat is probably not everyone’s cup of tea but he’s truthful and unafraid to express his opinions, which seems rare anymore. He’s also a talented writer. AU takes on canon characters can be a challenge, but I think this one is done well and done with a lot of depth and thought. Definitely worth a follow, as long as you won’t be offended by Somewhat’s distaste for New Who XD
