When it comes to a singular traumatic memory, there are things that you can do. However, if you can't remember it, you might need a picture from what happened. If you can jog your memory with a photo, push the memory to the horizon. Make the images from the memory black and white, and the sound staticy like an old phone. Once you have it on the horizon, spin it 360 degrees so now it's on the horizon behind you. That is the memory's place now. If you can't remember, this won't work as well.
