Stay Strong

You do not know how strong are you until God puts you on the spot. He is testing you every single day and every single minute. I was pregnant and had a 3 years old son with me, when my ex left us. I just had God who was testing me and my son in this hard time. I was having all these hormones and big responsibilities to save myself, my boy and my baby inside me. The smile of my boy kept me going every single day. He was keeping on my toes to see the real beauty and kindness in this world. He made sure that I was smiling infront of him, every single day. I am so much thankful for all the darkness, failures and struggles in my life, because I love myself now more than ever before and I am proud of myself now than ever before. So, please stay strong for your loved ones!

You probably have seen many pictures like this lately which talks about weight loss and shape of the body. But, do you know that true happiness and health cannot be seen in the pictures. Instagram pictures can be just a show off for outer world but there maybe a real transformation inside your body based on what kinds of diet you are following or are you following at all. When we say, beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder, that can not be true. If you think, you are beautiful, you are and if you think you are not, you might be right. All matters is that you believe in yourself and own the value of your health for your happiness. Happy New Year!

So this morning while on the way to do the university health centre work for registration I get a phone call.

Lucky enough I have hands free in the car.

I only went and GOT THE JOB I interviewed for on Monday!!!

Wasn’t the actual practice I applied for but one of there partner surgeries! Of course I accepted the offer.

I walked into the health centre and saw my mum but before I even gave her a hug I told her the news! She was buzzing and it went round the surgery staff very quickly!

I have only been out of work since Friday afternoon, working 3 days at the health centre and now I have a job to start on the 14th! I’m feeling fabulous, clearly I did good in the interview.

Now to spend the rest of this week earning pennies, next week of full on flat packing for the move and then back to work I go.

The surgery I now work in is closer to town, better parking and a lot smaller so I’m looking forward to it.

We've all watched taylorswift go through so much over the years. From having her VMA speech taken away to being criticized for everyone she's ever had dinner with. But somehow that's what makes her so awesome. She takes all the bad stuff and turns it into something great. Builds a castle from all the bricks thrown at her. She says it herself and she has actually done it.

I was blessed with a family who wasn't rich by any means but never worried about money to live on but at school I still suffered from "mean girls". In middle school I was on the dance team, which I LOVED, but when my best friend didn't make the team I had a hard time finding where I belonged. 15 years later and I can still remember one of the girls asking if I was wearing my grandma's shoes because they were New Balance instead of Nike's. I just had to wear what my mother bought me and she just didn't understand. My entire life I've lived a life of torment because I've worn my heart on my sleeve and worried every minute what someone will think of me. When I was in college I worked at a bank and even though I was married I still remember one of the girls at work making a comment about me looking "slutty" because I wore heels when everyone else wore flats.

Now that I'm a mom of 3 I feel more comfortable being me. Somehow by watching Taylor Swift and seeing what she's gone through, constantly being scrutinized for everything she does, I've learned to finally let go of all the other unwanted opinions. I am literally trying to learn to "Shake It Off". I need to live my life for myself, my husband and my children. It's time to just be ME. If I think a dress is cute, then I need to wear it. If heels are cute to me, then I need to wear them and not worry about what others think. It's unreal to think but someone whom I've never met has changed my life in such a huge way. Someday I will finally meet her and then I can say thank you, face to face.
