Confess every sin and break agreements with every impure and unprofitable word spoken by you, to you or over you. Scripture tells us to "Lay aside every weight and sin that so easily trips us up, and run with perseverance the race God has set before us." Hebrews 12:1. But the most important part of that verse is "Looking unto Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith." #Repost from @thelovequeen with I do a very good job at being positive and surrounding myself with nothing but amazing energies, but I'm human, and every once in a while something or someone is able to bring me out I of character. This happened today and I'm not proud, at all. I've realized, after deep thinking, that there are small pieces of myself that still need some work. One of the major things is looking out for those who do NOT look out for me; defending those in need while they pretend to have no clue as to what's going on— I care too much and that's perfectly fine but now I know I must teach and remind myself who and what is actually deserving. Sometimes you've got to be selfish with the things that make you ever so amazing and lovable. I am allowed to speak MY TRUTH even and especially when it makes those who hurt me feel uncomfortable and ultimately, I am allowed to create MY OWN RULES for self care, especially when they're made with no intention of hurting others but with every intention of making myself a better person. I am allowed to (and will) fix the things about myself that need fixing. Getting to that. #timetocleanhouse #growing #growth #thoughts
