Khiteeva promoted to 2nd Soloist!

I'm so happy for Alexander Khiteeva. This is well-deserved as she has definitely been dancing soloist roles. I do hope she gets more leading parts…but I would also like to see her career develop a bit more methodically, dancing roles that best feature her talents rather than just throwing her out there to see what happens. Now, let's get Svetlana Savelieva more featured roles. Maybe she'll be a coryphee by the season's end? One can hope! But there are so many talented girls at Mariinsky who never get recognized. Who is someone you've been following who think deserves more roles, recognition? It's hard because I don't have much opportunity to see the corps on you tube… Now…they need to promote some men!

Today is the fifteen year anniversary of when I first saw the @jonasbrothers live in concert. They were the opening act for the opening act for the Cheetah Girls when nobody knew who they were and I was in the fifth row. Since then, I've gotten to see them a bunch more and now live like a mile away from the venue where my life changed forever. Thank you @jonasbrothers for coming back to us this past year.
