timetodine reblogged your photo: she is so perfect owning Batman kicking his...
Wonder woman always fucking bugged me. She is somehow simultaneously a sex object and a straw feminist in the worst...
maybe she should be the kind of person who reblogs agreeing with people who sexually threaten rape victims?
There are legitimate reasons to dislike wondy, but "oh what about the poor menz" isn't one of them. Wonder Woman has never bullied men in any stories I've read. DC comics like, hates women, so believe me, she doesn't get many stories where she's able to be in that sort of position. She is written as a strawfeminist by writers who don't like her, but um. That's not actually legit.
This is an actual story where she does get to be not victimized and stuff so, A girl is being pursued be some nasty supernatural shit and needs Wondy's protection, did a ritual that is very specific to Greek culture so Diana was bound to her, Batman comes in and tries to control the situation because she committed a crime in Gotham because Batman tends to think he knows best about anything that happens in Gotham (even though this is like, Diana's city he's in now), Diana tries to explain it to him and asks him to trust her but he's like you know. a jerk about it and tries to break in and attack her and stuff so she punches him off her property and warns him to leave it. She's pretty mad at the girl for making her fight a friend and someone she knows is a good dude, but she has to do what she has to do.
Later, Batman attacks her and this happens. She's using pretty minimal force here considering she could beat him up way worse. Because of his interference, the girl ends up pretty dead.
But sure, we can arbitrarily decide Wonder Woman is the awful strawfeminist in this situation based on no context.
