Heya! I saw your post a while ago about how you kind of miss the excitement LMK used to make you feel, so I was wondering... Did you ever watch Monkey King Reborn? Because my god, that movie goes so hard. I love me some biblically accurate (or JttW accurate, I guess) Sun Wukong, haha! He goes off in the finale, and it's both beautiful and terrifying. As it should be. (The Chinese original is very good btw, so I recommend watching it with subs! The voice actors went kinda crazy.) If you miss the hype LMK used to have, this movie captures that, and so much more. :D

Oh dude OFC I've seen Monkey King reborn I even drew a lil doodle of it back when it like first came out I had like fifty screenshots of swk on my phone and you bet i watched it with English subs I loved the va's you're the right they went OFF I laughed for so long about Swk getting O////O about a demon telling him he's so cool. It's been a while since I've watched it ngl I wouldn't mind rewatching it since it's such a fun movie

Over the years “mature” became a word most people would use to describe him; along with some not-so-positive ones. He always found it ridiculous that they would use it to, well, talk about and to a proper adult. But he can’t blame them for what his body looks like; he knows they mean well, after all. Four wishes some of that maturity everyone talked about would find its way into the confines of his mind, the ones he keeps deeply in for himself to ignore only. Those moments that he keeps telling himself there is no point in keeping bringing life to; they are gone, long gone, and nothing is like it once was twice. But there is a childish denial unwilling to let go of yet. His mind focuses on memories of warm evenings and desultory touches while picking wildflowers; a gloved hand on top of his callused one. Life is so that it will make these small moments linger longer in us than we think they’re worth, and yet there is the need to keep them alive. So he will disguise that denial as nostalgia for as long as he needs to be at peace with it. That’s how the process of change goes; he will peek at these moments with fondness and then carefully tuck them away until the next time.

The first character I first fell in love with: Wild, 100% XD I came into the LU fandom from BotW via a SidLink fanartist, so it was Wild allll the way! The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: Legend. it was probably Totem Time that got me to fall in love with him and I never looked back XD but he’s not usually my type! very grumpy, but man he can fit SO MUCH ANGST in him! XD The character everyone else loves that I don’t: SKY. I’M NOT THAT SORRY XD I really like SWS Link but I’m not a fan of LU Sky. he just doesn’t have enough of a character to him and I’ve only read a few fics where he was compelling The character I love that everyone else hates: hmm maybe Fierce Deity? I think most people hate Time, but he’s sorta Time so XD FD is pretty cool, I like him! The character I used to love but don’t any longer: that’s a hard one, because honestly? all of them but Four XD if I had to pick one though, probably Twilight. he was so fun to write with Wild, but once I stopped writing Wild as much he sorta fell out of my faves The character I would totally smooch: uhh... Hyrule XD OR RAVIO :D The character I’d want to be like: none of them really, but I think Hyrule (FANON not canon) is badass and I resonate with him a lot The character I’d slap: Warriors XD A pairing that I love: ...this is a trap XD Twilight & Wild was my first love, then Legend & Hyrule... yeah. not a fan of MaLink really, or any straight ships for that matter. I’m in fandom for things I can’t get in other media *shrug* A pairing that I despise: ...I don’t despise MaLink, or MiphaLink. but. I am tired XD just want some gay ships blease

Wow, that's a lot of requests... People sure are active when they want something, huh? 😂 If you're still feeling up for it, how about Legend and Four being out in a dangerous situation together and being competent badasses? ;D

Silence settled in the stable and low lantern light flickered as shadows passed by. A hog-like nose twitched and glowing green eyes glinted in the dim glow of the fire, sparking like fireflies—

Metal rang, smashing down on the back of a skull. The bokoblin squealed, hitting the ground, and didn’t move.

Legend stood over it, mirror shield held in both hands like a frying pan. “That’s what you get,” he hissed, leaning over the monster.

Darting out of the shadows the taller hero had just left, Four slid across the wooden floor on his knees. The edge of his sword caught a Lizalfos and spilled purple blood across the silver ground.

“Stop messing around,” He said, kicking the green, scaled body off to the side.

“Never,” Legend told him, hitting another bokoblin over the head with his shield.

Hi, new follower and long-time Critrole fan here! :D I really loved your analysis on Veth - you said you're still a pretty new Critter, so you might not know this, but the fandom can be very vicious and cruel towards Veth. It was especially bad when she was still Nott. So seeing someone recognise and acknowledge her struggles and her journey is always very appreciated! :) Welcome to the Veth Defense Squad I guess, we're happy to have you. ;D

yeah, i’ve seen some of the aftershocks of the veth hate, but i haven’t really seen too much of it myself, mostly because even though i’m a newer critter, i’m a fandom vet so i know to stay out of maintags for the most part. i’ve also noticed that unsurprisingly, a good amount of the veth criticisms i have seen tend to tangentially relate to ships, as all fandom discourse inevitably does.

but i’m glad to be on the veth defense squad! she’s such an interesting, complex, nuanced character and i love everything about her.
