Dauwd - Heat Division (Tim Goldsworthy Remix) (Ghostly International, 2013)

Wird mal wieder Zeit für etwas mehr House im Haus. Heute in Form von Dauwd, welcher vom DFA Mitglied Tim Goldsworthy hervorragend in Szene gesetzt wird. Dieser kam auf die schlaue Idee, dem Original noch ein Vocal hinzu zu fügen. Dieses sorgt dafür, dass der Track einfach nicht wieder aus dem Ohr hinaus kriechen möchte. Aber auch der Rest weiß den Connoisseur zu überzeugen. Dafür sorgt der geschmeidige Aufbau, der bewusst vermeidet, dass hier in Strophe-Refrain-artigen Kategorien gedacht werden könnte. Vielmehr ist alles im Fluss, alles bewegt sich, nichts ist steril. Gerade bei diesen Vocals sehr vorteilhaft. Am Ende nimmt der Remix dann noch mal eine komplett andere, instrumentalere Klangfarbe auf. Puristen freuen sich übrigens darüber, dass der Remix auf dem Release zusätzlich auch ohne Vocals dabei ist. Geht auch gut rein.
