SCANDAL: No, turn pimp, flatterer, quack, lawyer, parson, be chaplain to an atheist or stallion to an old woman, anything but poet. A modern poet is worse, more servile, timorous and fawning than any I have named: without you could retrieve the ancient honours of the name, recall the stage of ancient Athens, and be allowed the force of open honest satire.
VALENTINE: You are as inveterate against our poets as if your character had lately been exposed upon the stage.

Glitch feels his mouth open, moving soundlessly as he wheezes out incoherent words, his lungs ache as he breathlessly struggles against the pressure of the darkness clawing at him through the Force. It pushes and pulls, like it doesn’t know what to do with him, and—
Distantly, he hears his blaster clatter to the floor when it slipped from his grip, his hands trembling so hard it's a wonder that his wrist hasn’t snapped in half.
He feels his knees give out, but hands reach out to catch him before he could limply fall in a heap on the floor, firmly holding him up but they don’t tightly grip at him. Almost like the Mandalorian was afraid to do so, but Glitch can’t really tell, with how wrong he felt in the Force.
Something vast lurks in the cavern of his entire being, and Glitch knows, he knows that there would be nothing but darkness if he dares to look.
He lifts a hand, hooking his clammy fingers onto a pauldron, with a Mythosaur painted boldly on it. He sets his feet flat on the ground, and he squeezes his eyes shut, and he keeps it closed as he tilts his head down as he breathes.
The Mandalorian keeps a firm hold on him, keeping him up as he steadies and gathers himself, and it's only when he blinks his eyes open does he realize that the door had shut closed again. Glitch feels the pounding in his chest then, his heart sounding thunderous as it beats. The gauntlet on his arm felt like it was clinging tighter and tighter, it might as well be cutting off the blood circulation in his arm, and Glitch can’t tell if the gauntlet had gone ice cold, or scorching hot.
His eyes slowly look away from the door, drifting towards the Mandalorian, and he freezes. The realization sets in and a vague sense of recognition blooms as he stares with wide eyes, but after a second he tries to jerk away, only to get pulled back.
“What—” he stops short, and his breath hitches, trying to gain control of himself in the hopes that he could use the Force to snatch his blaster from the floor. But—the man who had gently held him up, now tightly clutches his arms, keeping him right in place and preventing him from moving away.
