[A little note to my DFD friends who are still here...
I know it's gonna be just a bit longer for us to really get the ball rolling and start accepting new members, but for those of you who are still here after all this time, I'd like to thank you. I'd also like to RP with each and every one of you if you'll have me!
To Dale: I know we didn't interact very much IC, but I've always loved talking to you OOC, and I'm so glad you're in the group! Let's RP soon? :)
To Oswald: I'm not sure we ever actually got around to RPing, but Oswald is definitely one of my favorite characters and I would love to interact with you! I'm glad you've decided to stay with us, and I certainly hope we can be much more active this time around so that you'll enjoy being a part of our group. I agree that little fun events could definitely improve our group's connection with each other, and I'm sure we'll work on it once we're up and running again!
To Hatter: If I really said everything that's running through my mind you would need your own post. Or maybe two or three. Thanks for sticking around and thanks for being you. I've always thought you to be an amazing writer, and you were one of the few people who's RPs I actually read even if I was not a part of them. On that note, though, you are super fun to RP with and we should do that some time. Some time soon? :)
To Belle: We should definitely plot some kind of epic friendship. I wish I'd gotten to talk to you more before the group kind of collapsed on itself, and we should give ourselves a second chance now that it's coming back. :)
To Timothy: You're wonderful. I think you've got an amazing Tim muse, and I know a lot of the reason I love Dumbo is because of you. You're also super fun to RP with always. Thanks for being my Calhoun, however short lived that was. We should RP with Tim and Alice, don't you think? :D
To Prescott: You. You are fabulous. You're one of those people that when I RP with them I feel like I want to slink into a corner because your writing is so much better than mine. But I don't, because that little slinking feeling is what makes me push back and want to improve my techniques. We should RP again soon, especially since I don't entirely remember what happened last time we RP'd...I just remember it was fun and always a pleasure to see that you'd replied.
To Felicia: It's a bit weird now with Ratti gone, but I'm glad you've decided to stay. Feel free to ask any of the remaining members to RP with you; I'm sure they'd love to. I know I would! Alice loves cats; I'm sure we can come up with something fun for the two of them to do.
To the lovely Mansion Tightrope Walker: I'm actually a bit surprised you're still here, but certainly glad you are! It would be nice if we had some other Haunted Mansion characters for you to talk to, and maybe we'll get some once the group gets going again! In the mean time, the rest of us are here and would love to RP with you!
To Mowgli/Pinocchio: Thanks for everything and thanks for helping DFD get back on it's feet. Come visit me again soon. Let's RP. Like. Now.
To Riku: I'm super glad you're still here also. I think you play Riku really well, and I did enjoy our little RP when I was Mary Poppins, however odd and short it may have been because that's when my life started to get so busy. Thanks for sticking around!
To Ariel: Well hello, miss published author! You, whose writing is so good that you got a book published, still want to hang out with us lowly folk who are writing for Disney characters on tumblr. We are flattered. Your RPs are always a pleasure to read, as was your book! Thanks for always being here and having faith that we can get DFD restarted again. Together, I think we can do it. :)
To Shersher: I'm amazed you're still here, but I am so very glad about it. You always have nice things to say, and you RP a character from one of my most favorite Disney movies, which has always made me happy. The fact that you've been here for so long and are still that one character is absolutely wonderful. I think it would be fun to RP together more often - let's do it.
To Prince John: I don't think I ever really got to talk to you before the group started to die, which is a shame, because I remember being SO excited that you were joining us! (And it's really too bad you weren't here when I was playing Robin...) I will start thinking about what PJ and Alice could do together...I'm sure I can come up with something, and then we can RP it. :D
To Mim: You'll always be Iago to me, even if you're not playing him at the moment. I hope you never leave, and I don't think you'd ever want to, which is something I love about you. Mim might scare Alice a bit...but we should RP anyway because it would be fun.
Taadaa! We shall be around with more information on the return of DFD quite soon, I expect. A bit of a curveball was thrown into all our lives with the sad news that came to us a couple of days ago, as I'm sure you're all aware. We're back to working on it now, and hopefully we will have all of our new processes in place very soon! Thanks for bearing with us to the bear end. (had a bit of a Country Bears moment, don't mind me :D)]
