Faye + happiness

Faye finds happiness in the smallest things, in the silver linings, in stuff that maybe isn't so happy. Though she isn't always a bouncy, happy optimist because well, there are some Puff stereotypes she doesn't want to confirm, she tends to tuck away the moments for herself. She's happiest elbow-deep in the dirt of the Herbology greenhouses, on days where the clouds are interesting shapes, when she's getting another tattoo. She definitely takes her cue from Dumbledore; happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light. Faye gets sad like the next person and isn't always cheerful, but she's frequently happy/in a good mood.

Oliver + free time

Free time isn't something Oliver's entirely comfortable with. Their thought process usually goes something like; "wait, I finished all my homework? I should probably check that again. There's no reason I can't read ahead some. But this is actually kind of unimportant considering some of the attitudes here at Hogwarts. What can I do to change their minds? There's gotta be something..."

So yeah, they're not so great at just sitting down and relaxing. They're always thinking about something they have to do, or should be doing. It might be homework or Quidditch practice or a club meeting or well - there must be SOMETHING out there.

Oliver + pet peeves

Oliver has a few minor pet peeves, but their biggest pet peeve is people who have no passion for anything. Ultimately, they would like it if everyone cared about social justice and inequality, but they recognize maybe people need time to get to that point. So no, it's apathy and an unwillingness to find something to engage with that bugs them. Literally, Oliver would rather someone be homophobic/other -isms than just shrug everything off; it's a lot easier to change someone's mind when they already bring that level of caring. They can't figure out how to appeal to someone who just doesn't have an interest. (Their pet peeves include: people asking them if they're sure they're not just effeminate, people who cling to the outdated gender binary, pencil skirts, people who chew with their mouths open, etc.)

Spencer + courage

Spencer assumes he isn't all that courageous, but he is. It's just quieter. He isn't going to be the guy who stands up and leads a revolution, ever, but he's going to be the guy who tries to find a way to listen to and solve any problems plaguing Hogwarts students. He's going to be the guy who gets something done while just about everyone else is ignoring it. He isn't easily persuaded from stuff either, though he may nod and smile at people who try to change his mind. Sticking to stuff and seeing it through is just as important as starting it. But yeah, he wouldn't mind being able to stand up in public and declare something wrong -- he just doesn't have it in him to be so loud.

Dom + food

Food is a super complicated issue for Dom. He never really knew where his next meal was gonna come from when he was a kid (and over the summers it gets complicated sometimes.) On top of that he'd worry about his sisters getting enough to eat and if they're getting proper nutrition, so yeah. Part of him learning to cook was so that he could guarantee they were getting that meal. He's always been underweight - even at Hogwarts, he doesn't eat a whole lot because he honestly doesn't need a lot to feel full. Dom also tends to find Hogwarts food overwhelming, both in sheer volume and taste complexity. I think the only time he tends to finish his plate is before a Quidditch game and that's because he knows he needs the energy. In sixth year, there were days where he would only eat lunch and maybe supplement the rest with protein potions/supplements. He has a slight case of disordered eating.

Calliope + school

Calliope likes school! School comes with a dorm and food and she's always guaranteed both. (Sometimes, performing with her mum's troupe - well, those things could be up in the air.) She's an average student, mostly because she doesn't devote the time to be better across the board. There are a few classes that grab her and she puts up with the others. Also, school is great for socializing. Really, it's a whole bunch of things wrapped up into one and if she has to attend classes to get to all the other stuff, okay, she can do that.

Bran + love life

Bran doesn't give a whole lot of thought to his love life. He's a good boyfriend when he's in a relationship, though he occasionally needs reminders. But most of the time (ie when he's not in a relationship) he isn't necessarily looking for one, or bemoaning his lack of love life. It's not to say that he's busy hooking up either; he's not much for random hookups. He just doesn't think much about relationships/sex when he's not in the former, mostly because there is Quidditch and school and a social life to attend to. Plus, he figures if he's always thinking about how he doesn't currently have it, he's gonna be a real downer. Better to let it happen organically.

nadia + happiness

A truly happy Nadia comes about in a few ways right now: nobody (including profs) asking her stupid questions the entire day, pregaming with jesse and jase, and sewing. A lot of Hogwarts students have theorized that destroying souls makes her happy, and Nadia hears those comments and doesn't care to comment ;) She does enjoy parties, but she doesn't allow herself to get too drunk and she's surrounded by peers who she doesn't necessarily like so it isn't guaranteed happiness every time. When Nadia's happy, the usually defensive set to her shoulders relaxes and she doesn't feel like she has to hold herself so tightly. However, she doesn't really like to show this outside of Jesse, Jase (and occasionally:) Felix, and Haz. Therefore, around anyone else, she often pulls her happiness back inside and gets her best glare on.
