A random Pearl/Amethyst thought

Amethyst is the new Crystal Gem, and still has no room in the temple, so she shares room with Pearl. She’s messy, so Pearl goes crazy and asks her to keep her room in order. Amethyst gets upset and yells at her that she can’t tell her what to do, and that it isn’t her fault that Pearl is obsessed with cleanliness. Then she leaves, angry. Rose asks her what’s wrong, and Amethyst says she doesn’t want to share room with Pearl, and tells the story, ending with “I don’t understand her obsession with order.” Rose sighs and decides to tell Amethyst Pearl’s story, how she was a servant at Homeworld, and that her former owner mistreated her if she didn’t keep everything in order, and that’s why she prefers to keep everything clean. Next day, Pearl finds her room perfectly tidy. Amethyst appears out of nowhere, hugs her legs and whispers “Sorry, P”
