Name: Edo Newman
Role: Male lead in Hopeful Future
Age: A little over 7, but less than 8 (physically 9 due to Kinnises aging faster and living more brief lives than humans)
Height: A little over 3” tall.
Species: Kinnis
Personality: He is a sweet and innocent little kid, though he is timid and scared easily. Given that the people who adopted him are so much larger than he is, it’s hard to blame him. He tries to avoid making Dawn or Sara mad with him because seeing someone so much larger than him being mad is scary.
Abilities: He has good hearing to detect predators coming. Like all Kinnises, he can keep warm better than he should be able to, can hear humans talk without them needing to speak softly, and humans can hear them without the Kinnis yelling. Adult Kinnises can also fly due to passive innate magic reliant on their wings that get stronger as the Kinnis matures. That magic makes their flight muscles surprisingly strong, allowing them to fly with the same agility as a dragonfly, which lets them fly normally, backward, or even upside down. Since Edo is a little kid, he is not yet strong enough to fly.
Family: unknown Kinnis woman (dead biological mother), unknown Kinnis man (dead biological father), Dawn Newman (adoptive older sister), Sara Newman (adoptive mother)
He technically has the name “Edo Newman” due to Sara and Dawn adopting him.
