*Arriving to Mrs.Cotton's boutique was nerve racking to Lense. Not just because of the gossip surely going around about who Miss Paper View was with, the entire Spamton Tenna situation, nor the reminders of... Far less pleasant times before she was bottled.

Lense: (Spamton mentioned she noticed my absence and change... Will she notice now?... Doesn't matter, I'm not real anyway....) hey, Angel we're here, do you want to introduce yourself to Mrs.Cotton, or do you still want to be with me?

*Angel's screen comes back on, looking around a bit as he clings to Lense still. *

I can..introduce myself...But I still stay with you. Mrs. Cotton is safe right? She's the lady Mama told me to go to if things ever went bad.

Yeah...yeah she's our gamma...

"What did he expect to go so wrong that he had to tell you where to escape to?"

Something about a ring he had? I don't know he just told me he'd tell me when to run if it ever happened...

*Lense gently gave headpats to Angel, knowing this likely wasn't unusual for him.

Lense: Spams going to be fine Halo Network... Most don't know what's been going on in yours and his life... The anons will make sure you're okay, and we're almost to Mrs.Cotton's.

*Lense glanced at Tiny, who was the only one who she couldn't quite read

Lense, signing "Pipis-squeak, how are you hanging in there?... I... I'm aware you have the most... Mixed option on both Spams and Tenna."

*Angel just clings to Lense tighter. Even if he was used to certain aspects of this it didn't make it any easier.*

"I'm fine. Expected this to happen anyway. Best to just..not dwell on what was inevitably gonna happen anyway."

Well- something is going to go wrong.

*Lense, somehow, knew this was going to go down an EXTREMELY bad route in a hot minute.

Lense, trying not to intrude too much into this mess: Angel, Tiny, Paper. If- you want to leave your parents to settle this... Do you guys want to meet/see your grandma, Mrs.Cotton?

*Angel, looking scared and anxious already, slides off his chair and clings to Lense. Tiny hesitates but follows soon after. Paper is the last to get up, not wanting to leave her parents alone to fight but knowing it was better they weren't there.*

How long are you two planning to stay at Mrs.Cotton's/Mr.Sapphire's?

"As long as is needed..."

Paper said that Mama and Papa will come get us when they're ready for us. When.....ever that is......

*Tiny clearly doesn't like that answer but doesn't say anything else.*

Hey, easy there, sweetheart. Take some deep breaths. You're fine, you're siblings are fine, your parents... everything is going to be fine.

Look, disagreements are normal for couples, fighting... less so, in most situations. Unfortunately, none of this is exactly normal, and I think those two have some pent-up feelings that need to be aired out before healing can happen.

As for what other people say... Everything is very tense and messy right now. Just know that the absolute truth is that your parents love you three so much. That they would do anything to make sure you all were safe and healthy. And that none of this is your fault; any of your faults. Got that?

I...I got that. Yeah. I just...I never thought...that to begin with. Its you guys putting those thoughts i-into my head.

"Calm down Paper. It's fine. They aren't trying to upset you I'm sure. Just...trying to help."

"Yeah, Spamton can fully understand sign language due to a Lighter in his past being selectively mute. If you do have questions for him, there isn't a barrier to communication in terms of comprehension."

"Oh....well that's something I guess. Effort is being put in I guess."

*Spamton seems a bit confused by the surprise that he would put effort into understanding one of his kids but he doesn't push the topic. Not important right now.*
