He stood in front of the closed doors with a nervous attitude - he wouldn’t deny the fact that his feet was tapping consistently upon the marble floor involutarily, indicating he was nervous…but why? There was no reason for him to be, right? Well, Krul had personally called for his presence back in her castle where she dwelled.
Finally at least, for she had been avoiding him for quite awhile the past few days that he’d been here in Japan. Was she finally accepting an audience with him? Then if so, why was he called to be alone before he came into the throne room? Was this perhaps some sort of little game she wanted to play?
Well, if that’s the way it would be, then so be it. He was intrigued by what she had planned this time. In the next second, he had pushed open the doors with a confident air about himself, his usual smirk back upon his face as he entered the room.
Surprisingly, Krul was alone with the entire room empty of all presence beside her’s and his. How odd…
“You called for me, Krul?” His voice came out as a drawl as he strode up to where she sat on her throne - going further to mock her by kneeling and bowing to her being to pay his respects.
He expected her to snap at him for his gesture, or say something else of equal taunt to ruffle his feathers as he had done with her. Keeping his head bowed longer to further provoke her, he waited for her next words to come, prepared to counter whatever came out of her mouth.
“Yes, I did call you here, Lest. Just for a simple matter, and only matter only.” Her tone sounded off, was that a tremble in her voice he heard? Was she nervous? Afraid? Anxious? But of what?
He kept his head bowed as he replied, “Ah - and what may that little matter be?” He expected her to say something about it being a problem with him here in Japan.
“Be my Valentine for today, will you, Lest?”
