Absolutely, In a 15-20min video im getting an average of 5-8 ad interrupts and it's obnoxious. They're really trying to pust their premium i think

...

You know, I can’t decide if that it’s not just me makes the obnoxiousness of it worse or better...

I’d believe it’s them trying to push premium. Cuz there’s certainly every reason to believe that they care more about making people pay for content that has for more than the last roughly fifteen years been free than allowing people to enjoy the free content.

Because we live in a late-capitalistic hellscape!

I found one but it's kinda hidden behind an island expedition quest drop thingy so it Does Not Really Count.

yeah, it’s a shame because I don’t doubt some of the few things we do have in game are genuine and put there by people who care

but

it’s not hard to glance at other franchises and feel that these feel woefully inadequate by comparison

and it really wouldn’t be hard for them to be more overt
