     And with that, she can sleep soundly on this random-ass table. She’ll be happy it when she wakes up, at least if her chronic nightmares aren’t bad.

     She noticed how gently everyone held her hand. Had they noticed how pathetic she’d become...? Well... in the end, they still held her hand. And even as she shivered a bit anxiously, it was comforting knowing it was someone she knew with her right now.

Struggling out a word was difficult, but around her parents, it was something she could manage.
