Moving is an absolutely worst case scenario. The one wind park he could definitely get a job at is only a few hours away. So if we could find some land we would feasibly move them. It would just be a huge pain. 

If we have to move farther away or can’t afford to buy any land then we would have to sell them off. But that is not likely to happen. My husband has a solid work history having worked at IBM, GE Wind, GE Mining, and his current job as an electrician at NRG. The only thing that really holds him back is that he only has an Associates degree.

What is a Guinea guy? Why does your vet hate pigs?

Guinea Guy is a friend of our family who we met when he stopped by our farm to inquire about buying some of the guinea fowl he saw running around. Hence the name Guinea Guy.

Pigs are really noisy and not exactly good patients. None of the vets I’ve met like working with pigs. If I really need her she will come, but she tries her damnest to get out of working with them if she can. The last time I called her about a pig she just gave me instructions over the phone.

What is going on!?

The other day after they shot the first escape from Dannemora prison and while they were hunting down the other guy (who is now in custody) the only thing going on over the scanner was the police placing their dinner order. It became kind of a joke going around on twitter.

Fake tofu chicken.

Back when I was a vegetarian I used to eat some of the fake meat products and some aren’t half bad. 

I was worried vegan fed chicken was becoming a thing. It’s bad enough companies market “vegetarian fed” chicken eggs as somehow a plus. Poor birds.

How did you meet?

First encounter was my sophomore year of college, he was dating my friend.

After they broke up, he contacted me because at the time he lived in San Antonio, my home city.

He had just moved there and said he “didn’t know anybody,” and wanted me to “show him around” and “help him be social.”

My naive ass believed him.

Oh this is definitely one of the best concepts I have seen in a long time. I want one for my art studio, I can think of a million things to do with it!! Reviews on it are mixed, hobbyists love it, professional contractors love the idea but feel it would need to be more durable for job site use. tinyhousedarling you might find this interesting :-)
