if you can't beat it, own it. I bet with a little creativity, sans and papyrus could make that neck-brace look SUPER COOL. Or like, at least cover it with a cool scarf-cape.
[ * Papyrus is in love with these ideas! He can’t help but try them all out. ]
Now those kids are in for a Bad Time ™
( ohohoHOHO I see what you did there! im very excited to show what happens next )
( Just some reactions that I enjoyed reading and needed to post before today’s update! Every single comment and every single ask I get fills me with immense joy. Thank you so much for all of your lovely reactions, hehehe )
How much would you say the bros personalities changed with their deaths? Are they new people that happen to have faces similar to the souls? Are they basically the same at heart, but the removal of memories that once defined them changed their outlook? Something in between? Would the zomboys be more similar to their living selves due to keeping their brains, or does that not matter?
( the bro’s personalities changed a whole lot with their deaths! They retained small characteristics, such as Sans being very patient and Papyrus being very brave. However, they are completely different souls from their predecessors so they’re very different. Bravery and Patience had their own human souls and Papyrus and Sans have their own monster souls, derived from G’s own.
For example, Bravery was a mute individual who always chose to fight, unless it would kill. Papyrus, however, is extremely loud and will avoid fighting if possible.
In another example, Patience was a plucky young lad, very full of energy and excitement, a true optimist. Whereas Sans is much calmer and has a more realistic outlook on life.
For the human au, it’s the same general idea. Patience and Bravery died with their brains halting function. However, Sans and Papyrus are kept functioning with magic. Their souls and personalities are chiefly magic-based. Has nothing to do with Patience and Bravery’s brains or souls. )
( SOME EXCELLENT RESPONSES AND THEORIES TO OUR MOST RECENT PAGES!
@sadlittlehiney To respond to your statement, absolutely, I agree! G is very very terrible at apologies! Extremely bad at it! Sure he has good intentions, but good intentions aren’t always enough to accomplish what one needs to. )
That drawing of the family is eventually going to return and be very painful for us won't it?
You'd think that, as a parent of adopted children, G would be more open and attentive to any issue paps or sans might have with other people. Or that he would at least ask the little angel how his FIRST DAY EVER of school went... This isn't a hate comment, just pointing out how choosing to become a parent doesn't necessarily makes you a good one.
( Oh absolutely! I agree 100% with your statement! The biggest point I’m trying to make here is that G does his best, and he is usually a very very good parent to his boys, but everyone makes mistakes and unfortunately, his mistake just happened to have a larger effect on Papyrus than he realized he would.
The thing about G is that, despite him having his boys for a few years now, he is still extremely new at being a parent and is still learning how exactly to be one. There are many problems with such a thing, such as Sans being treated basically like a mini adult half the time, and G sometimes doing the same with Papyrus, not meaning to upset him, but also not realizing the effect his words may have. )
