Jenny DiNoia holds the record for playing Elphaba the most times having done the role in 7 productions and 4 countries, while Jemma Rix has performed the role in the most countries (I think like 8?) and Willemijn Verkaik has done the most performances as Elphaba with over 2,000. Willemijn also has the record for playing the role in the most languages - English, Dutch, and German, and Louise Dearman is the only actress so far to have played both Elphaba and Glinda. Lindsay Mendez, Mandy Gonzalez, and Hannah Corneau are the only Elphabas of this decade to come into the role on broadway never having played it elsewhere before and Hannah (current) is the first actress to do so in 5 years

Its not a rerun of wicked over here! Some semi-pro company has just got the rights, but because everyone wants to do the show it has some professional people in it!!! also its literally the same as any other wicked show

The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks, my ultimate favorite book atm. I love the science and story of her life and I’m so so happy that a friend recommended it to me cause “You’re sciencey, you’ll like this”

75: tell us about your pets!

MY PUP’S NAME IS TOULA AND SHE’S A GOOD GIRL!!!!! She’s some sort of mix, she’s got the color of a golden lab and the subtle pattern of a german shepherd’s fur on her back, but she’s significantly smaller than those 2 breeds. Other than that, we dont know what breed she is except that she’s such a good girl! She’s cuddly and rarely gets into stuff, she’s so well-trained, she wiggles when she’s excited, she has the brownest eyes, and gives the worst puppy eyes ever if she isn’t getting exactly what she wants. We had to train her to whine when she needs to go out because she would just sit quietly next to the door for an hour until we noticed, now she whines and spins in circles and huffs at us when we aren’t quick enough to take her out. I love her so so much and I miss her so much now that I live in a dorm

A musical everyone can learn from.umm honestly Little Women it does a really good job of developing a character who has a really complicated relationship with gender in a v casual way, it’s not presented as an lgbt thing at all it’s just another facet of a very lovable and deeply developed character and a big part of the message is that there’s no one way to embrace or reject femininity which is something we don’t see much of in pop culture
