There's been a long time since the last Team Calamity strip. And these dickheads really hate bullying, what could've been if they enjoyed it? I decided to let Break have a tiny guest appearance, since one indestructible killer-monster-terrorist and his japanese sadistic psychopathic 'friend' are too much for little ol' NYC.
Poor Break, give him some love, it isn't his fault these two assholes are way more popular. The dude haven't even been ever translated to English XD
Yeah, you might recognize ‘my type of men’ ;) Break from TinyxMachinegun’s got so awesome and heartbreaking endings... *sings purposefully off-key ‘UNBREAK MY HEAAAART!...”* Nope, of course, he won’t replace my only snek Terumi, but it’s quite the similar type ;)
WAAAAHHH, why can’t I have an eroge with men I like!? All these T-rated VNs are frustrating XD
[Spoiler-Free] Quick Review on "Tiny×MACHINEGUN THE GAME"
Got the game two days ago, and just collected all four endings of Reigand, Tiny's big bro.
There's no much spoilers in this post simply because I can't fully understand the content_(:3」∠)_ <--needs to check dictionary most of the time when trying to read Japanese.
OP Movie :
The OP movie is quite dynamic when comparing with other games of same genre, especially to those keep showing half-size character portals or game BGs / event CGs, and irrelevant 3D CGs.
OP theme is performed by CRYED, a band under ZIZZ Studio.
In case you have played some of Nitro+ games, you should be familiar with Kazuhiro WATANABE (OP vocal) and Kanako ITOU (ED vocal)
Actually, I was impressed by this movie itself rather than song performers at the time I decided to purchase this game, even though I was a little fan of ZIZZ Studio.
Details of OP / ED (Source : Official Bllog):
OP - Title : Zettai ALIVE!!! (絶対ALIVE!!!)
Song by CRYED (Vocal : Kazuhiro WATANABE, ワタナベカズヒロ)
Words Daisuke IWASAKI (岩崎大介,) Kazuhiro WATANABE
composition & Arrangement CRYED, Toshimichi ISOE (磯江俊道)
ED - Title : Chiisa na Te (ちいさなて)
Song by Kanako ITOU (いとうかなこ)
Words Ai NINOMIYA (二宮 愛,) Ikuko EBATA (江幡育子)
composition & Arrangement : CRYED, Toshimichi ISOE
Main Screen (After reaching one of the endings):
All available routes are listed in this screen, with those selectable ones in full-color while unselectable ones in grey.
If you are interested in when a specific character's route will be available, you can check this diagram. (Spoiler warning, source : Official blog)
There are 12 episodes for each of the available characters with four endings (+1 EP for Happy / Normal ENDs, at least for Reigand.)
Game Scenes (Extract from EP1):
Some of the vocabularies used in this game are highlighted in yellow, you can check their meanings when you clicked on those highlighted words. Also, they will be listed in the dictionary at the right bottom corner once they have appeared.
Back log + Status Checking + Quick Save / Load:
Unlike other game logs, the log of this game not only letting you to read / listen past dialogues, but can also take you back to specific scene once you clicked on "Scene Back" button, even works for options which can affect endings. That means the usage of Quick Save / Load, is less than often since all data of Quick S / L will be erased once you have closed the game.
Bonus :
The "Special" option will be available once you have cleared of the endings.
Gallery :
The gallery consists of 120 CGs (plus OP & ED movies) put into five pages.
Character Profiles:
Specific profile pages will be unlock after reaching specific criteria, five pages for each character.
Music :
No OP / ED here since both are already included in Gallery, even though those were in video form.
Bonus Game - HANDS UP! BANG BANG!
Just like a typical mini shooting game for iOS / Android with four difficulties.
Other comment:
Personally, I quite like the setting of this game because it is not a school / ancient time theme like most of the other games. But before you play, you must make sure that you do accept bloody scenes since it is rated as 15+.
However, if you want to play this game because of specific seiyū yet does not have basic Japanese understanding, you can simply give up. It is because full voice-dubbing is only available since EP 7 / 8, depending on character's route. Before that, you can only hear their sfx such as laugh and sigh. (Since other non-Otome games I played before does not have full voice also, this part does not affect me much.)
Besides, the context of first 11 episodes are quite long (estimated time needed to read one EP : 1hr.)
Since I cannot recall the last time I played an Otome game, all I can say right now is "Not very disappointed." Despite the fact that I was kinda frustrated when noticing Tiny, the 15-year-old female protagonist, keep using her name as first-person pronoun, this game does not give me the the feeling of "Glad I bought this :D!" feeling during most of the game play, nor after clearing one of the endings. Still, I would like to try finishing other routes whenever I have time since most of the inside story are not yet revived .
Side note: The last game that gave me "worth to buy" feeling was Danganronpa Series.
