Hey I just passed my first ever Job Interview, your girl is employed now haha I’m very happy so I want to share how you can ace yours! ;)

A lot of job work experts say that first impressions count during a job interview. Your potential employers have reviewed your resume and were impressed. Now, you have to impress them more -- and ace that interview -- through a face to face interaction. Some key things to remember:

Stand Up Straight -- but not arrogantly or with angas. This is a job interview, not The Philippines’ Next top Model: You want to impress your interviewers, not intimidate or turn them off, Sloughing might give them the impression that you’re lazy and not that interested in the position.

Smile  A pleasing personality will always reel in others and draw them to you. Smile sincerely, and always be aware to wipe off any signs of frowning or scowling on your face. Plus, don’t be plastic: Interviewers know how to read people, so they can tell right off if your smile isn’t genuine.

Practice your Q & A before the actual interview. Think of it as preparing for an oral exam. Get a friend to pretend as the interviewer and toss you questions so you can rehearse your responses and how you convey them. (I did this with my boyfriend hihi) Tip: You can even use index card just like in school) to help your practice session.

This 2018, I started off my year by saving! This is very unusual for me because before I tend to save and then get the money I saved after a month, so in short, wala talagang ipon na nagaganap! Hahaha.

So what I did this yr is I am following a P50 weekly increment challenge, on where I can see what amount I must save this week, and it just became an exciting goal to highlight each week the amount I put into.

The challenge is to be really consistent, I cant open this can so I really had my patience on to it. Plus I’m very excited to open this at the end of the year and see the sum amount of money I gain for the whole year. 😍💖 This money is bound for room decorations and international trips next year yay ✈

DAY 9 | MY TOP 3 QUOTES I TRY TO LIVE BY She believed she could so she did. This is probably my favorite quote of the bunch. It means a lot to me because I often struggle to believe in my abilities, even though I’m aware that believing in yourself is the first step to achieve your dreams. We need to be our first supporters and believe that we can achieve everything we put our mind to. It doesn’t matter what others are doing. It matters what YOU are doing. It’s easy to fall into the trap of comparison or to feel like you need to do what everyone is doing, either when it comes to academic, professional or love life. We’re all different, we all make different choices and everyone’s path to success is different. Don’t feel discouraged, focus on your own life & what’s the best for YOU. The happiness of your life depends upon the quality of your thoughts. I’m quite a positive person. I still have those days when I feel like crap, and it’s a lot easier to focus on what’s going wrong in my life. But I always try to make an effort to push those thoughts to the back of my mind and focus on looking at the bright side. I deeply believe that having a positive mind has a positive effect in your happiness & life. I’m a sucker for inspirational quotes. I have folder of them on where I collect them like crazy. .
